Bro Alex......If you ask my sincere experience. If your motherboard and PSU permits, I will go back to my old Asus GTX680 DCU II Top SLI. Easily beats the GTX690 by miles..... Whoever claim that the temp of GTX690 is low, ask them to compare with DCU II TOP. GTX690 is the best "Single" card solution, thats it, full stop. Even the GTX690 is louder than the DCU II when you load it. When fully loaded the temperature easily reach 60-70 degree C. The beauty of this Kepler is the boost feature. I have tested the DCU II TOP and by default (no OC) it gives the highest boost of 13++mhz compared to the GTX690 which is only 11++mhz. If you set the fan to higher RPMs, you will get a couple of tens mhz up. My experience is you need to keep the Kepler cool, and it will cut the boost if it hits 70 degree, even if you overclock it, it will not perform as required. And 1 more thing, if you are the type of Hardware Kraze who change your GPU whenever there is a new ones coming.....be prepare to lose hell of a money when you sell the GTX690 as no one willing to part with RM2000 for a year old GTX690 Zotac [WTS] Zotac nVidia GeForce GTX 580 AMP, sold via postage to atih007
