ive already at inferno act2...been farming like hell for gold and selling items on auction, never once did i see any monster or boss drop any of the blacksmith set plan recipe. yes...not ONCE! been pretty frustrated not getting the set plan. did ya all took you ages to get? got 37 sets and 1 also i not yet get so i think it will take me forever to get all the set plans...

luck. act 1 can drop exalted plan, act 2 can drop fine exalted plan.

since when got 37 sets?

ok fine no 37 (my mistake) but there are a total of 36 which you can craft from that blacksmith which most of them are the same plan...but again never did i once got it

how long have you been in inferno act2?

iirc the drop rate for ilvl61/62 BS legendary plans at act1-2 is so low, its almost non existant

lets say if we are talking about "Cain's Honor" set

that plan only drops at Normal lvl, so yeahhhhhh hahahha

ppl do get grand plans at act2, but after 1.0.3, the rate is like super low, it was already super low before 1.0.3, so yeah, and ppl that were farming act3/4 that were getting it on a decent rate kinda stopped getting it anymore after 1.0.3, so it pretty much explains it all lmao

it basically just look like the regular tome and shit, with the highlighted color, thats bout it

TS, I feel you...I've been playing Inferno for about 30 hours. Currently farming at Vault of the Assassins in Act 2. Still no plans at all.

my first set item only comes 400hrs into inferno.. then 2 weeks draught again

brader...i hit 300++ hour only get my first Set Item... +4 stat plan alot but what for ler, u can buy +4/+5 blacksmith plan at affordable price at GAH, still waiting for that +6 stat plan or any legengdary plan drop, the +6 stats is the real deal if drop

wah 300-400 hours to get set item I only 110 hours or so total game play....long way to go

not like that ler...it all depends on real life luck ler, some just play few hours also can get set/plan/legendary, for me its just that long until a first set item drop, so kinda long, ...Perseverance will always Prevails..heh heh

TS was looking for Set plans, set plans are all legendary tiered. Natayla set is mob drop only, you cant smith it.

Do note that I mentioned plans, not set plans. I've seen my friends getting plans within few hours of gameplay. And people in this forum are not so friendly eh? Laughing at me while they could've just tell the facts nicely. =\ damn butthurt now.

1. exalted sovereign helm x 4
2. exalted dread shield x 3
3. exalted sovereign mail x 2
4. exalted pallium x 7

really need proceed act2 for better plan???

andd dun forget also about Jeweler Plan...this on also i think lagi susah get...tsk tsk..still...depends on luck also, sum are lucky, sum abit less luckier...

statistically yeah, from what ive known, 99% grand tiered plans drop at act3/4

as for legendaries & set equip, its ilvl based drop, so lets say wall of bones plan is like ilvl10+ its a normal mode drop, someone got it in act1 iirc (you get the idea)

last i checked, someone got a cain's honor from azmodan normal mode

if you're talking abt normal plans.. then i've got tonnes..

exalted shield? at least 20 of em lol

based on all of our grievances on the drop rate of Blacksmith Plan be it for set, legendary or rare i believe we are an unlucky bunch.

i know of a guy with HoC plans that has maybe less than 5 post in this sub-forum.

then again, i dont wanna wear that f***ing shield. i cant see myself wearing hoc. to have a decent shot at a good roll HoC you need at least 5 million (mats are about 500k per helm, im using 10 helms to roll) with him not charging me a single gold coin (friends ma lol)

so yeah, totally ignoring HoC lol.

its a rly ugly helm honestly lmao, id go with Mempo of Twilight coz its cool, bought one in HC xD

imo its only worth going for if you have the decent trio set, HoC+Justice lantern+SS

all 3(with decent stats) are way overpriced to be considered worth it for casual players
