mind sharing what's Turion X2 about? lately feel lazy to google... hope u didn't mind to share your knowledge 

Swt why is the topic moved. I want to know the laptop expereince of dota2 users. Now its becoming a debate between graphics card and CPU .

I was hoping there are users in the Dota thread that would justify my questions.

The turion x2 is a very old CPU not worth mentioning.

if i'm not mistaken latest generation, amd has improved their proc...   no heat issue right? 

whenever I go anywhere, there's always mention about heat issue on amd..feel pity to them

Wow thanks... V1n0D if u dont mind... how about during battles like 5v5 clashes where all the spells and details are casted.

My current laptop is a x2 turion RM-72, with HD3200 . Its max settings with high fps of 50. But it screen will freeze for 1-3 seconds during war. This defeats the purpose of playing dota because that few seconds is the most important time.... So i dont want that happen to my new lappie >< But i haf a feeling that won't happen ? haha

Btw, what laptop are you using ?

mine is i5 2.4ghz GT520M 8GB Ram, and the framerate is 25-40 at maximum settings

Their current chips run really cool! Sure they may not be as powerful as their Intel counterparts but comparatively as mobile solutions, very decent in their own right.

yes i plan to play it at FULL SETTINGS 1080P . Sadly i can't find out the answer unless there are Dell15RSE users in the house.

mudkipryan. Whats the FPS whilst playing dota2. Any sudden drops from lets say 50 to 30 during team fights ? Even if its just a minor 0.5 seconds. Does that happen ?
