Sorry, left out your name. My bad.

Anybody else?

Surely, the members will increase after the SVS pre-order.

Ard mid to end Sept. smile.gif

I wonder SVS will be displayed at HK audio visual show. Will find out tomorrow. Now, hunting for local delicacies.

Added on August 10, 2012, 9:01 amFor those interested to join the camp, here is the thread for the respective sub. Pre order is now on

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1188994

Extremely long queue at HK Hi-End Audio Visual Show. Been 30mins and only less than halfway point.

This quarter ton 18" sub will make the PB13-Ultra looks small.

It can dig to a low 16Hz. It can do 120dB. Stunningly beautiful cabinet. Truly Exquisite Sub.

Looks like PC and PB12-NSD also in good demand smile.gif

Another one buying the 13-Ultra!

It could probably be the last ported sub that you upgrade unless you have a very deep pocket.

Come Nov or Dec, we might have SVS presence in PJ for ease of audition and purchase. Unless, you all still want to drive down to Seremban to see my face. tongue.gif

Added on August 14, 2012, 9:58 pmI bet the mod who moved this does not know how to differentiate Home Entertainment with Audiophiles.

A 'new' beginning. Now, you understand wink.gif

Only 1 last PB13-U for the pre order. Another one bought the PC12-NSD.

Seems like 3 units of PB13-U will heading to Perak. 3 in Seremban. It is good to see that other states are catching up fast on good HT systems.

if anyone is willing to DIY, you could probably reach similar performance with about RM5k.

the UXL18 are now in stock for USD$615 a piece (shipped). put them in a heavily braced sealed cabinet and you'll get over 120dB for anything over 38Hz. 16hz-100hz performance average at 118db across the range.

ricci did an extensive measurement on the driver at data-bass.com.

Impressive but I believe that the sound quality could be different smile.gif . The million dollar question would be 'By how much' since it costs a whopping EU30k for the Kharma sub rclxub.gif shocking.gif .

Still, I will stick back to my own subs even I have such moolah to splurge on this premium sub sweat.gif

definitely. the perception of sound quality is different from person to person. measurements and numbers could only tell so much. notnyt of avsforum which had 6 (IINM) of the uxl18 in sealed enclosure upgraded tried 12 of elemental design's 13" 13Av.2 driver and say that them 13 inchers goes deeper and felt more solid compared to his previous sextet uxl18.

the 13Av.2 didn't measure as good as the uxl18 in tests.
