i'm always on Survival.. but i only on my PS4 certain times a week.

more fun on Hard/Crushing difficulty if you team up with people who knows what they're doing/where they're going..

if not then some sessions just cause me to ragequit. 

happened to me before, and i searched the internet like crazy - but couldn't find anything to help with.

what i did:

1. go to Challenges - change the challenges mode to 'Survival Only'.

2. make sure you have at least some relics available, coz now you have to use the relics to 'buy' new Challenges.

3. try to replace 1 existing challenge (notice that your existing challenge is in White Font), and once you purchase the new challenge,
you'd notice that the font color has changed to somewhat cream/light brown/light gold-ish

4. go into Survival mode, and try to complete that challenge.

I solved my predicament that way, hopefully you can, too.

i tried all sorts of stuff, but mine seems broken also at the time.
my 1-4 were steps, so try following it as close as possible (at least try 1 time for one challenge).

i just noticed - you have 2/3 open challenges in white font (which means that it's actually meant for Multiplayer/Competitive),
and 1/3 completed challenge (also stated 'Survival' there), i assume it's in a yellowish font compared to the other 2.

try replacing one of the 2/3 open challenges while the Challenge Mode is in 'Survival only', and you should see that the font color change
and probably it will state also 'Survival' there.

farming Survival challenges is easy peasy now, notice this guy farming Survival challenge relics (0:18 - the survival challenge fonts are in yellowish color,
with 'Survival' stated in them).

your 3rd challenge was completed, right? it should register as 'Completed',
and normally it will refresh in a few days.

what i found out was that there would always be a prompt stating
'Challenges are completed, please come back tomorrow for a new challenge' (or something like that),
but after 1day, there was only 1/3 challenge reset/available.

i don't know how to counter that one, though.

for mines/gears challenges, i normally apply 1-use booster Cheaper Gear & some loadouts like Explosive Master/Gear Master (i forgot the names),
they would help to clear the challenges easier (e.g. Explosive Master Lvl 2/3 - I forgot, can KO more NPCs compared to using explosives without the loadout).

currently attempting 90 kills with FAL, completed 45 kills with Para.45 & 30 kills with Bishai .50 yesterday in 2 Moderate rounds.

if your 3rd one still marked as completed even after the other 2/3 are refreshed 1-2 rounds already, you may be experiencing some glitch/bug there.

the next time you start your UC4 Survival, see if your 3rd challenge (the completed one)
show up with the tile 'Come back tomorrow for a new challenge' like so:

How is unchartered multiplayer? Good, addictive, enjoyable?

i had a bad experience once - tried random matchmaking & suddenly started up at Auction House,
the final wave with Warlord.. &*^^&%## no money to even purchase anything and the other player
kept on dying.. **((R^%$#@

never tried crushing, though..
