Fidelity at 4K30, Performance at 1440p60, Performance+ at 1080p120.
I tried Performance+, if I come from PS4 non Pro version, I'd be happy with the image quality, but I've been long spoiled by 4K120 on my PC, so I'm going to stick to either Fidelity or Performance mode. This post has been edited by KomradMikhail: Jan 28 2022, 02:38 PM |

Your PS5 will download the entire 2 games again though, 67.319GB in size. Makes sense since they're improved assets like better textures at higher resolution and all.

Based on the folks at Resetera forum, either one should work.

Played untiil Chapter 8 of UC4 after the PS5 upgrade, I'd say the biggest upgrade is not the graphics or the framerate, it's the load time.
Load time is almost instantaneous, 3 seconds at most. I remember dreading when dying of all the load time from the save point. Now,after the upgrade, it's dead-fade to black-load back in the game, less than 3 seconds. It makes the game even more cinematic that it does not pull you out of the game from the long load time last time on PS4/PS4Pro. Even before the upgrade, playing the game means having to be patient with the load time from any save point or loading up from dying to the closest auto save point. Been jumping between 4K30 Fidelity mode and 1440p60 Performance mode and 1080p120 Performance+ mode, I spent most of my time on Fidelity, until the section where Nate had to escape the Auction heist. I switched to Performance and Performance+ modes there just to get better control at killing the enemies with guns. Though I still prefer cinematic Fidelity mode. I guess Performance mode is a good enough middle ground without switching between "pretty" and "smooth controls". But I've played through many run-throughs of UC4 I think I can anticipate what the Chapter is going to throw at me, and what mode I should switch to. And like I said, load times is almost instantaneous from menu/save point/chapter start. No time loss when mode switching. I love how pretty UC4 is on Fidelity mode. Maybe it's the crappy older Samsung 4K TV I played UC4 on last time, but on my current OLED C1 now, even with the baked in global illumination effects (not real time ray-tracing) and HDR, with the better textures and assets on this PS5 upgrade, it shows. Chapter 8 when Nate had the closeup of the graveyard map of Avery's Cathedral in Sotland, you can make out words on the map, versus muddy textures on previous versions. QUOTE(Gaia34 @ Jan 28 2022, 07:50 PM) Digital. R1 US PSN. I've been using US PSN since I got my first PS3. In fact, for my first PS3 I got myself a JPN PSN account since they launch first, US next. Asian launch was last. For Asian/Malaysian PSN account, I never bothered making one, until recently just to register for Malaysian warranty purposes. By that time most if not all my games purchases are R1 and on US PSN. I've also been digital games purchasing since PSVita release. Only bought digital games I want to build a library with. Any Uncharted games are definitely a timeless masterpiece worth keeping in a game library. Nate yelling "Cepatan! Buka Pintu!". I fell in love with the game since then. Uncharted 1. I got that too in the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, also digital. So worth it to replay back, just to hear those words, "Cepatan! Buka Pintu!" |

One other thing, once you install your upgrade, listen to the home screen theme music.
