How's the surround sound for the new Uncharted remake remaster? Does it sound really good on the HT system?

Remaster, not remake. 2 different terms.

It's... decent. The surround mix is the same from the originals, except now the game allows you to adjust the azimuths just like in TLoU. It's a decent fine tweaking setup, though there's not much point to it if you already have a well calibrated setup in the first place. That said, the surround cues in Uncharted games has always been pretty subpar. So in terms of that, nothing really has changed.

What about quality? Well... there's a drop in fidelity. I don't think Bluepoint re-encoded anything, but somehow... Uncharted 1 and 2 just doesn't sound as good as it does on the original releases. I double checked on this, switching between the PS3 and PS4 system simultaneously.
There's always a drop of dynamics on the PS4. This could be because the PS4 handles audio differently than the PS3, it could also be because of different audio hardware as a whole. Point is, the originals sounded better and I asked several other people to confirm it blindly and they'd always come back to the PS3 versions saying it sounds better.

Let me make it clear though, the audio isn't bad in any of the remasters. Many wouldn't even realize it, heck I wouldn't if I didn't have the equipment to monitor either.

timing is perfect thatz what I can assure coz this is happening randomly but never happened on PS3...

guys im facing an issue where whenever i tried install the game and it keep saying game disc is dirty or maybe damaged and need to close application. fyi i have tried delete and resintall and update but prob still same. disc looks fine. but everytime it wants to install the 40gb game into my hdd the disc reading in the ps4 game slot is very loud. need help thanks fellow forumers

Looks like PS4 hardware problem
to be more specific Disc Drive problem...

but i have no problems playing my bloodborne or fifa previously. so frustrating. so the game disc is not the problem?

from where did u buy the game? u can take it there & ask them to check....this usually used to happen on my PS3 few yearz back...then I took my PS3 to shop & they figured out its not my disc, itz my PS3's prob

i drop by my friends place and tested on his ps4. and his work wonders. i guess mine maybe faulty. gonna send to son centre for warranty soon. thanks though... scare its disc drive or maybe my hdd faulty

if HDD is the case then that'll be real easy to fix...

haha...replace the hdd u mean, sony will give me a new hdd or i have to replace it myself. i tried this morning rebuilding database. at first only drakes fortune can be install then came the same problem again. i guess my last resort is sony centre.

take it to sony bro before u do any Warranty void harm to it....

dont get me wrong bro. what i mean is will they replace a new hdd for if its the one thats faulty? i dont mean i will replace it first haha.

& yeah if u kept ur warranty intact then they'll replace with new one if itz HDD or if itz any other issue...they'll take care of that

itz just luck bro...I bought my one at Day 1 of PS4 Release from Impulse....still working like 1st day & I play a lot specially UFC & DOA5...

i borrow my friends UC as well and its the same problem. this sat will shipped to sony repair centre kl. frustrated.

and i also re initialize and still same prob.. disk lens maybe not in a good shape. or maybe its hdd haha

sien, still havnt receive my games yet from poslaju...call them up just now saat line busy saat no one pick up the phone.. haizz
