Hi all sifu here title student have a question about my rig and I just noticed it yesterday and I feel it is maby ad normal? Just ask here to be sure =)

My Rig system specs: Intel Core i5-2500k @ 3.30GHz | MSI p67a-gd65 b3 | Kingston 16GB DDR3-1333 x4 | Gigabyte GTX 570 OC windforce 3x | WD Blue 500hard disk | Liteon DVD writer | Silverstone Strider Essential 700W power supply | CM Hyper 212 EVO | Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit | Coolermaster Elite 430 Plus casing | 42' LG Tv |

I don't know how to oc and oc once by clicking at the motherboard as it have a oc gen button like a quick oc try it one and close it d... The temp I monitor usually is 35~38 or many goes up to 45 but yesterday I playing shogun 2 fots with all high graphics settings, loke over 3k men vs 4k men LOL!!! Dead body everywhere... Back to topic... I monitor back my pc the temp went up to like 55/106 and another temp show 58/116 so is this normal? And pai seh arrr bought a oc rig and don't even know how to oc can sifu u all teach me oc too?

my 2500k OCed @4.5Ghz @1.45v
idle > 4X*c
load > 6X*c (p95 "7X*c - 8X*C" )
cooled by corsair A70 (heheh!! vy good cooler)

what i mean is when i play game i got go see the temp for my comp wan ma so i taught it will stable at 40++ but this time the temp went up to 50++ so scare it is adnormal lo and all the temp is base on *c

like what i say above~ if normal~

That is the prob... Like buy a lemboghini don't know how to run it hahahahaha still in the learning stage and I call u sifu cause u are senior and u know the things that I don't know and need to learn from u=)

boss...if u really want to see your temperature running at 40+ during gaming...get a full set water cooling...dun expect too much on air cooling as you cooler fin total surface area is smaller (bigger area give better heat dissipation)...if your casing allowed..get a NOCTUA nhd-14...kick most of the cooler ass sky high but very huge heatsink...

me usually when gaming, cpu heat is not the main problem, is the GPU heat, me reach 60-70c when extreme gaming, but still not OC yet...

OC on air has huge limitation...possible get a water cooled ones...your gigabyte windforce should be no problem keeping the heat of GPU down...

Thanks for the info =) will get a water cooler when iam in the working industry =P still a student now and had limited resources btw will water cooler leak out its liquid?

if u dun want to risk of leaking, get a corsair h80 or h100, but does not guarantee will not leak, but i never had an experience b4, now i using full WC, if possible try not to put the reservoir in your case...me not a pro in WC, but i somehow found that WC is just like that lol, planning to use back the air cooling
i just use to cool my CPU onli, but using a 240mm radiator with 4 fans, damn noisy...

still did not had any fan noisy for now and have decided use fan cooling is better and thanks alot to all sifues and thread close and will open a new one if there is any probs occur or any questions.... thanks and bye =)
