Get familiar with the class of your choice in SC first. HC silly mistake can lead to fatal.

No need to fuss about picking which characters if you are just starting off. Just create a character for each class in HC and play with all of them. Get them all to the Skeleton King (SK) and then decide which one you are more comfortable playing. It will only take you max a couple of hours per character to get to SK and you will have a feel of things by then.

Also, playing multiple characters will net you more gold and/or gears for the character you ultimately decide to run with.

Plus the fact that in the unfortunate event where your chosen character dies, you will at least have the consolation that you have another character to fall back on.

Tips:

1. Always keep gears you want in your stash. If you keep them on your character's inventory, they will be gone if that character bites the dust. Death can happen when you least expect it.

2. Always keep a good set of lower level gears in your stash. If your main HC dies, at least your new character will have decent gears to start off with.

any class is fine i guess.. just need to go more defensive if ur aim is to farm inferno in the future

Monk has a passive called Near Death Experience which "When receiving fatal damage, you are instead restored to 35% of maximum Life and 35% Spirit."

play more class to understand it first in SC,
knowing just ur class is good but knowing what other class can do in a party is better

just play whatever classes u like, there isint any exact guideline of "higher survivability rate" rly

i can let ur roll a barb, WD or monk, but if ur main class is DH, you prolly progress further on your DH than the 3 main tanker class

reason i said WD is because it has a cheat death passive called 'spirit vessel' which if you die, you enter spirit realm for 3 seconds and restore back 10% health afterwards.... 90 secs cooldown b4 u can die again or else, u really die.

during the spirit realm, u are basically transparent and move quicker. mobs cant see u and u can walk through them to escape if died while trapped.

btw just to give u a heads up, that passive, is bugged at times lol

my WD friend was in one of that situation, he entered spirit mode, he cant go thru stuff. gg

itsa reported bug, but Blizz dont seems to give a fvck

but entering spirit thru passive still gives u the invul effect, just that u wont go thru shits lmao
