if put front sensor void what warranty? only alarm? or?

Another question, K5 comes with reverse camera originally?
*
Yes, K5 comes with reverse sensor and camera. And the screen outout is at the rear view mirror.

If put front sensor, it might void a few things. As long as the service centre can proof that the particular item spoild due to the front sensor installation, than they will void that warranty.

if u temper the wiring with 3rd party installation, will void warranty, unless u get permission first. The section of the warranty void are those involving electrical/electronics which is alot. So there is risk, and it always come with risks these after market modifications. Just dare to take or not. If really insist, do it with good installer from ppl that done it before with recommendations.

Yes, K5 already comes with rear camera.

i dont have much problem estimating front length, so i didnt install it. Maybe coz im 6', my head stood up higher in the seat.

I think a few owners here installed the front sensor. Wait for their reply, and recommendations.

Hi guys, would appreciate some info before I decide on the K5. Both the SA and authorized service center rep I have talked to say that the 5 year warranty for the K5 only covers the gear box and the engine.

Is this really true?

They say that the ECU etc are not covered beyond the first year or so.

As per my SA, all covered for first 3yrs(not including wear and tear items).
4th & 5th yr only cover engine and gear box.

RlanD, thank you for the warranty info. I will post it at the begining of the page.

Since the first 10 pages of this V3 is not a happy begining, I decided to re-start this thread.
