Pure luck.

Guess Cherroy is smart. Save RM1 processing fees tongue.gif
*
Don't understand the RM1 saving unless you totally donit want to buy. If you buy during listing day, broker fee + stamp + clearance fee definitely more than RM1. biggrin.gif

Reit and ordinary stock is not the same.

Reit income is highly predictable, and there won't be much surprise on the profit down the road.

Reit price should trade too far away from its yield and NAV.

If reit yield is too low and comparable to FD rate, there is little reason why investors should buy the reit, (apart from property sector is booming and rental market is expected to be rosy).

Around Rm1.3x to 1.4x is possible, my guess.
*
You have made a good point here. Reit vs ordinary stock. But bear in mind that, anything can happen during listing day. Nobody can predict Pasukhas can jump from 0.12 to 0.7x also. Same thing happen to Datasonic! biggrin.gif

We can never treat reit as ordinary stock although it trades like ordinary stock.

Yes, everything can happen in the market, but reit is not like ordinary business making listed company.
Even unconverted bond price was traded way above face value before, in the history  laugh.gif

Reit - income highly predictable, income is fixed by rental collection, portfolio of property is fixed.
Ordinary business - no limit on revenue and profitability, as well as leveraging to make the company grow big.

So there is a limit how far reit price can go.
*
haha. Let's see how investors response on listing day. You made very good point actually. thanks. biggrin.gif

Can anyone please help me with my doubt? The online banking status showing me successful/clear ...but when i see the allotment is 0..why is it?
*
Did you receive any refund ? The status successful/clear may be the status for your payment for the IPO application. Pls check application status. What bank you use ?

Im using RHB bank...no refund made to my account..when i applied for the IPO..the status before balloting is "pending"....after balloting thn change to successful/clear, however the allotment showing 0...Most important is no money had been credited back to my account...
*
I see. if this is the case, you may get the share. Why the allotment showed 0, you need to call RHB bank dealer to check.

I've applied for IPO.

When will they announce the successful applicants and refund the unsuccess ones?

When is the actual listing day?
*
How you applied ? Most of us got the result already.

Hopefully not too high when listing day.

The earliest when we can know the listing price?
*
Listing price is 1.25. I guess you meant the opening price. It is difficult to tell as it is purely base on market sentiment. Or how hot is the stock during listing day. Normally it will be 10% above IPO price.

I doubt it's succesful, cause I applied 20k shares.

The money is also not back to my account.

And I checked on www.mih.com.my, IGB Reits is not listed in the IPO results.

Means, the result is not out?
*
From table, applied 20k shares will get 20k shares. I think you got it. Pls check with the bank. biggrin.gif

wow you must be the IPO king! And lucky too!

How about existing Kasset shareholders? Any shares in your portfolio? Last I read is the IGBReit share will only be credited to you approximately after a month after it list.

This year IPO application quite okay for me. Got GAS, IHH and IGB so far. The rest, don't ask you also know lah. biggrin.gif
