Yup, when young boy had some Lego sets, assembled then later diassembled and mixed up in the pile which kinda reduced over the years. That time who would thought that these bricks would be popular and collectibles.

Now Im buying new sets and this time takingcare of them.

i'd jack it up to 11.90 if i were ALJ.
this is the perk of being sole distro doing collectible retail product.

i feel their margin is about 30-40% toward the retail shoppes.

i dun think so, its 10% now. 15% was the summer break sale previously.

if u ask me the decent stock is the one-u branch. the other that i go to (cheras selatan, sunway, bukit tinggi) all very less.

Oh, ok. Wanna go relive the younger days tongue.gif

We keep each big-sets separately. So far, don't think lost any important bricks before. Maybe some heads/weapons/flower petals lost though.

To me, at retail price, SG is still cheaper than MY even after conversion at 2.3-2.4
Not sure now at 2.5

That's been the case for many years now. Hence why quite a number of my sets were purchased in Singapore.

Same here, used to purchase from Singapore back in 2007 where my bro help me to carry back. That time was really cheap compare to here, but not anymore.

So far I only buy from Bricksworld. Sometimes TRU when they have great sales over there.

Maybe you can keep all d accessories in one box. I do paper box myself and throw all of them inside.

I broke a few of leaf petals on my Star Wars Endor set. But can be glued back. I keep those Lego small extra or unused accessories in Daiso utility case. These cases can be used to store lego minifigs too.

Yeah, initially after play, dismantle, all keep back in own original boxes. Last time boxes are like drawers type. Some bigger sets are like open-top box type.

After that, buy those plastic containers and store inside. We don't mix the pieces around with other sets.
Since Lego is consider expensive toy to us, we have to take good care of each tiny pieces, cannot lost even one sweat.gif

Must remind and educate the young ones not to bite or chew the LEGO small parts like buttons. Those arent M&Ms.

Don't laugh. We did that once every few months for those big sets. For those old sets, it does not come with inventory something like this.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Therefore, we DRAW our own inventory with diagrams similiar like above, and put the quantity onto those F4 folio paper. (If you old enough, you will know F4 for exam write essay tongue.gif )
We count like e.g. six dots, eight dots sweat.gif

Next time if got chance I dig it out, will scan and post it here.
