QUOTE(jabba87 @ Aug 7 2012, 02:52 PM) Repost from previous thread. My Rig: Ipod / Iphone - Type of usage: Music - File format: mp3 - Music genre: all, but mostly trance / house / edm - Budget: 100 to 300 - Headphone/ earphone type: earphone, prefer in ear - Other requirements (if any): prefer to have something with extra bass kick. Currently, my options are JVC HA-FX101, JVC HA-FX40, AiAiAi Pipes, A-Jays Three... Any other options???? Thank you for your advise! Hisound Audio PoPo, Hippo VB, Dunu Trident. Dang, I would sell my Atrio to you if it wasn't for the condition it's in.

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 17 2012, 04:14 PM) hm.. xba-1, never heard it, but they say is the best among xba series from sony, not sure how true is the statement The best value, but not the best sounding to me. I only tried up to XBA-3, and the XBA-3 is actually very good sounding. Doesn't quite have that "WOW" thing going for it, but doesn't do anything wrong. I especially like the bass. It's not entirely as good as what I get from the Atrio (it is PUNY compared to it, and misses a bit on the details), but it has more bass than I would expect from a BA but not being dark sounding too. Very balanced I would say. Since I'm used to the Atrio's slower bass, the speed of the bass of the XBA-3 really came to me as a bit of a surprise. QUOTE(deadboy 164 @ Aug 24 2012, 09:58 AM) Lets say something below RM50. Used at office 1. Long hours. If not then below RM100. Add Question: In EarĀ is more comfortable than earbud ?That depends on your ears. Generally though, earbuds are more comfortable since they only sit inside your ear concha. However some people (like me) prefer IEM because earbuds simply would not sit on the ear, they'll keep falling off. IEM's design dictates their comfort. The smaller usually means better comfort. Deep insertion can be irritating for the first few times but you'll get used to it. I think the best shape would be a cross between an earbud shape with an IEM fit. Something that looks like a Cube F1 Pro, or Hippo Ten, or Superlux HD381 series. Sometimes they can't fit in deep enough, but if an earbud works for you then surely those IEMs will.
