- Budget: RM 400. The cheaper the better.
- Rig: PC. Mobo is Asus P8Z77-V Pro. With DTS thingy but the onboard equalizer for gaming, movie and music are sucks. Speaker is Corsair SP 2500 with headphone jack.
- Gaming>Music>Movie.
- MP3, M4A, AVI, MKV, RMVB.
- Universal listener. Thus I need balance between clarity, and tight bass instead of loud and dull bass.
- Headphone.
- Other requirements:
> 5.1 or 7.1. More to action with shooting gaming. I think Sniper Elite V2 need an accurate sound position because very hard to spot the enemy.
> Comfy. My current cheapo headphone really hurt my ear after 30 minutes.
> Can get a decent wireless headphone?
> Ear cushion are changeable.

BTW, I need comment regarding real 5.1/ 7.1 or virtual 5.1/ 7.1. I want to know which sound better and other necessary thing I should know. All I know is "real" using all the jack while "virtual" using the green jack and virtually surround. I don't mind wired or wireless, virtual or real surround as long it's a decent headphone with a nice price. Thanks all...

well, for a 5.1 or 7.1 etc etc on a headphone is less likely physical, most are sampled to 5.1 only, and those are gaming gear branded headphones, SQ wise not as elite as audiophile grade like shure or beyer or senn, to meet your req, maybe razer or CMStorm those brand

BTW, care to explain more about the sampled? SQ is for what man? So, are you saying audiophile headphone is perform better than gaming headphone in gaming too? Because my main intention to buy headphone is for enhance my gaming experience.

My current speaker already have surround sound though it's 2.1 speaker but I think it's not enough. It's a waste to buy another surround speaker because my current speaker is really balanced between gaming, music and movie.

Honestly, those famous brand are on the first hatelist because they tend to have a fake one. For Beats, there's a lot of fake and even if you use ori Beats, still people will say it's a fake unless the headphone is inspect carefully.

not those famous brand, just beats, in the top of the shitlist

May I know why? As for me, Beats price are overprice for the design and external quality. Never tried, never use, not an audiophile so I don't dare to say a lot. But IMO, it's a waste to buy Beats while there's a lot of better headphone outhere with similar or maybe lower price?.

not specialized for gaming , bt still can work as one, less all the gimmick like 5.1 effect and stuff
*
Less gimmick but same performance? (I mean sound quality and surround) Or less gimmick and the sound positioning is less? Or less gimmick but better performance?

sound quality, audiophile headphones are meant for music, so they have better sound

if want game and music together usage, might can consider grado, sennheiser or beyerdynamic
*
Okay, will look after this. Is there any suggestion within RM 400? Honestly, I'm not into CM Storm, Razer etc. I hate Razer as much you hate Beats. Haha...

- Your rig (PC+Light DAC 24/96 Sabre ES9023. Teclast X19HD and Galaxy Note 2, no amp or DAC)
- What type of usage (Gaming/movie & Music)
- File format used in your source (mp3, flac, rmvb, mkv)
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, alternative rock, R&B, hip hop *Universal Listener*)
- Headphone/ earphone type (I prefer design like AT, BOSE if possible with headphone portable case)
- Other requirements (Can recommend me for each budget. Let's say RM 200, 300, and 400. Max is 500 but I prefer below 500)

Hi guys... I'm new in audiophile. Though I'm not audiophile but I'm quite picky in choosing audio product. Hehe... I need a recommendation for a headphone. And will be pair with as above rig. So I need headphone that balance between for both gaming and music.

I prefer clarity with tight and deep bass. But if possible, clarity and exploding bass but I'm not sure if it's possible with my current budget. Hehe...

BTW, I discover some good deal @ http://jaben.com.my/shopping2/RM100-RM599.html but I don't know which one I should buy. Seems like Jaben bundle is a good choice. I'm open to any recommendation. Either it's headphone only, or headphone+amp, feel free to suggest and advice me okay?

Need another suggestion... biggrin.gif This time, IEM...

- Budget: Max is RM300. Actually, I prefer to stay below RM200.
- Your rig: Teclast X19 HD, Galaxy Note 2.
- What type of usage: Music.
- File format used in your source: mp3, m4a, wave, flac.
- Genre of music you listen to: All sort. Universal listener.
- Headphone/ earphone type: IEM.
- Other requirements: This earphone is mainly for exercise; cycling and jogging. So, must not fall easily from my ear and a durable one. Prefer clarity with accurate bass, not a bass head.

Thanks...
