others?...i'm afraid Senn is expensive compared to the performance

Wrong, never base a performance of a headphone on its price. Audio is subjective, rarely objective. Best to try various headphones before making a call.

If you liked Beyer type of sound, you could consider Fischer Audio DBA-02. Not everyone may like it though

comparing between monoprice and sony.

y player max can go is 16ohm

It's just a technical specifications, best you try and audition them which one suits your flavour. It's not like you're testing headphones with >250 ohm which can pose a problem with sound quality without proper amping.

Try Alessandro MS1i  biggrin.gif

May not be comfortable to some people though but bear in mind ms1 are open headphones which mean, sound can leak out

Budget rm 900? I listen to all spectra of music from indie rock to dance to rnb to jazz to classical. Thinking of b&w p3 or other ideas ?

You'll need to quote on how would you be playing, else it's difficult to recommend

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, sound card etc)
- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc)
- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc)
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, open, circumaural, IEM etc)
- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc)
