QUOTE(imjowen @ Sep 15 2012, 10:13 AM) Different sound signature. TMA-1 more emphasis on bass and mids, treble are slightly roll-off. good for bass heavy music and long non-fatigue listening. The AKG are the opposite of that. So it really depends on your music preference |

My rig - PC + Phone [HTC One S] Usage - Music File format - MP3 and some FLAC Type - Headphones Requirements - Portable. Something like ATH WS55 is great. Tried SJ55, don't like the sound. The mid and high isnt clear enough for me... Any user of WS55 can tell me is it better? |

QUOTE(Long_Zai @ Sep 16 2012, 02:53 AM) - My Rig: PC, phone ( plan to buy a apple ipod) Honestly, if you want an M50, get a used one. Audition it and if everything is working fine then buy it.- Type of usage: Music, Movies - File format: mp3,mp4 - Music genre: any - Budget: Around RM400 to RM500 - Headphone/ earphone type: Over-ear headphones - Other requirements (if any): Comfortable and some extra bass. Mic and volume control would be a plus Any recommendations? Interested in Audio Technica M50 but cannot affort one Headphones are like fine wine, they sound better through time. (That's why people burn in headphones up to 500 hours before listening) |

QUOTE(imjowen @ Sep 16 2012, 10:52 AM) tma 1 studio. The K550 does offer slightly better clarity over the TMA-1 Studio. However, the bass on the Studio does extend better giving it a fun factor to enjoy over the K550 for casual listening do u think its a good buy for its price? bcz i found quite alot of bad comments about its sq of this headphone. but i like its simplicity n portability over the k550. |
