Thanks for responding  thumbup.gif
Know anywhere I could get them?
Specifically the Hippo vb?
*
For auditioning them, you can go Jaben, if you simply wanna buy it, online stores will do, just as Jaben's branch over the trading section or lelong.com.my

Quite some seller carries this can. You can try it at Jaben, while some seller does sell it over the trading section.

- My Rig: Pc, ipad
- Type of usage: Music, Movies
- File format: mp3
- Music genre: any
- Budget: 200-250
- Headphone/ earphone type: headphone
- Other requirements (if any): nice bass, solid built, durable and comfortable

I'm looking for a better headphone to replace my Sony MDR XB300. May I know how does Audio Technica compare to Sennheiser as I don't see many people recommending it on this thread?
*
For this case, i think i can help you on the comparison between HD202, FC707 and SJ55[which all of them fall within your budget]. According to my memory, FC707 has punchier bass while SJ55 has deeper bass. HD202 has weaker bass among 3, but has a slightly brighter treble. Thats my impression on them. Hope it helps you =)

Thanks for the recommendation bro. I forgot to mention that I'm actually looking for circumaural headphones which covers the ears completely. Any good ones within the price range?
*
I only know those from Audio Technica... So i can only provide you product from Audio Technica. I think Pro5Mk2 suits you, circumaural and DJ styled headphone, which means it has great bass.

Though when I checked the Head-Fi forums, most people rave about the Sony MH1c.
How are they?

So...

Sony MH1c
Fischer Audio Tandem/Silver Bullet
Klipsch S4
Any others?
*
My friend do own a set of MH1c, which was a gift when he purchased his Sony smasrtphone. Well, i was really really impressed with the sound, because once a while ago, i thought that driver size is the only thing that matters the sound quality, and this little thing tells me that it is completely wrong with its 6mm driver! The bass is warm and punchy and the treble is wonderful! Basically this is a very bright earphone with good bass.

Hey guys, can you recommend me a earphone/headphone as the rubber from my sony MDR-EX310 is coming off and i'm feeling uncomfortable wearing it.

Rig: laptop, mp3 player, tablet
Budget: <RM200
Music Type: All kind of music
Music Format: MP3
Usage: listen to music on the go, use it for sports sometimes, watching movie

Guys..i jst bought Bass Bud at Groupon for RM69.00 instead of original retail RM269.00...

Thing is, i have bought it, then only i remembered there's a Music/audiophile section in LYN....

I know i have already bite the bullet, but would like to know what can i expect from Bass BUd? Review seems pretty good..but since those ppl are from US/UK, i am not sure whether their review would be OK (since they get free product for review).

All these while i am using TDK earphones....those cheapo RM29 or so type...

THakns!
*
Hi, my friend has just bought those too and luckily i have some chance to audition it for around 5min. First thing this stuff gave me was the bass... Seriously, the bass is overwhelming, very strong bass, and so strong that i feel that the mid and low treble had been destroyed. For a price tag of RM2xx, this one scores poorly[for my taste], but for a RM69 earbud, this is GOLD! biggrin.gif

The sound is somehow remind me of my old/previous JVC FX1X, but the JVC has better treble though.

i guess your solution is to buy a different pad for your MS1i.. so far, i found none other headphone having similar sound as the grados/alessandros, at least for the price range.

but i dont find comfort issue too much when wearing my MS2i, i can wear it until i'm done listening. brows.gif

Actually i was wondering is opened back headphone so good for long hour usage? Although i'm not a long hour user, but my PRO500MK2 gets really hot after 50min to 1hr of usage. I can see my ear sweating! ohmy.gif

heard some review says that it is quite clampy,as it uses the tick aluminium strip as its headband.
