Your rig: Laptop and phone (HTC One X), and occasionally for gaming
What type of usage: Music
File format used: .mp3 and occasionally, .flac
Genre of music: Variety but heavily on heavy/death metal and rock and, Jpop/Kpop
Budget: RM300-ish (but will consider if it's around RM400 too)
Headphone/earphone type: Full size headphones and circumaural headphones (I don't wanna disturb others with my heavy metal music oTL)
Other requirements (if any):
- Must be comfortable (also, for long hours) as I have comfort issues (plus, I wear glasses)
- Good bass, good vocals, can handle really heavy screamo and guitar distortions
- Preferably got volume control but it's okay if don't have~
- Very durable (as I want to use it for years and not invest in another one until the proper time comes by XD)
On a side note, I was going to buy the Steelseries Siberia v2 but I read that it's not that good for music but more heavily on gaming. So, hope there's a better choice for me out there! unsure.gif

PS: I'm not that very good at reading specs, so I'm okay with almost anything as long as can handle heavy/death metal, has a good bass and good vocals too.

My rig: Laptop and my phone, Xperia SL
Type of usage: Music, movies
File format used: Mostly MP3, MP4 for MVs (I love HD MV >.<)
Genre of music: Variety but preferable sentimental songs and musical instruments.
Budget: RM100 - RM150, but can consider until RM200.
Headphone/earphone type: IEM (in ear)
Other requirements (if any): Preferable crispy and clear. I don't fancy very strong bass, but acceptable as long as the bass do not cover up the whole song. What i prefer is very good quality of musics, 3D feel, or shall say High Fidelity? Sorry for my lack of vocab in describing the needs, I don't know how to explain >.<
*
When you mention clear and under RM200, the first thing that pops up in my mind... the Feelspro 900 the UE 500.

BTW, it is quite rare to see someone using Altec Lasing IEM! Nice to meet you, currently i'm using the Altec Lansing MZX606, along with my ATH CKS55 biggrin.gif

Planning to buy a earphone for my upcoming holiday which requires a very time consuming flight to listen to songs on my iPod touch.

Can anyone list a few of the best earphones I can get with a max budget of RM 200?
Preferably in-ear earphones as they generally produce better sound with better sound isolation.

Thanks! Will share my 3000 mp3s in my library with you if you can help  tongue.gif

Just like siles1991 says, maybe the Munitio Billets or the Image S4 'ngam' you. There are other options too, such as the very popular Beyer XP series, or Hippo Black, ATH CKM55

QUOTE(siles1991 @ Feb 4 2013, 03:12 AM)
Spend RM250 for the klipsch S4 or Munitio Billets RM200 from "hon kin" or you can head over to Jaben and test out the Beyer XP series biggrin.gif

I think you mean noise isolation? For RM150, i'll say go for the Hippo Black/White/Pearl. If you dont mind bumping up your budget a lil bit, you can try get the Feelspro 900, UE 500 and even the Beyer XP!

If I raise my budget to RM200, which is more better? Feelspro 900, UE 500 or Beyer XP?
*
Feelspro 900 is a BA driver earphone and from what i listened to them last time, this is a quite decent earphone. Very fast bass and awesome treble.

UE500 is a dynamic driver one, with very balanced sound signature. Quite good across all kind of genre. It is warm but not too boomy and crisp highs.

Beyer XP series come in 3 different version, XP1,2,3 each has different sound signature and they are quite good too.

So it is down to your personal preference now.
