Guys, I'm listening more towards metal which means I don't want massive bass in my EARPHONES. Earphones aite? Not over ear or etc, I want earphones. Any suggestions? I've tried the Logitech ultimate ears 400 one and it satisfied me 100%. Sadly, it got lost in friend's party. Anyways, yea. Genre = metal, rock, instrumental stuffs. Bass mustn't be emphasized. Hi, can you give me some recommendations on headphones? Which is fairly priced, preferably RM500-600 maximum.

I'm looking for something that has very good sound clarity with a decent amount of bass. And non-muffled sound, as my previous headphones has a very muffled / blocked sound which makes the sound less clear and soft.

- Iphone / Laptop / Desktop.
- Music / Gaming / Movies
-Various file formats
- Genre of music : Almost anything. Mostly looking for clarity but with a decent bass because I do listen to metal as well.
- Headphone/ earphone type- Probably a comfortable one which doesn't fully insulate the sound from outside? Because I don't like to feel a vacuum in my ears (makes me dizzy). This means "Open" right? But I do not want people to be able to listen to the music I'm listening to when the volume is really high.

hi guys, would like to go for headphone instead of iem.  i'm still new to headphone as my daily music listening rig was just iem previously.  i've tried my friend's HD555 which is a opened back headphone, i having harsh time to enjoy the music when surrounding is noisy or whatever, if enjoy during night, i worry that i would annoy my bro who is sleeping next to me. so would like to go for closed back instead.

Have been eyeing on goldring dr 150 with vero cable, but too bad it is a opened back.  Another headphone on my list is audio technica m50, havent audition it personally yet.  So would like to ask for suggestions from all sifu's here =)

Can anyone give me a IEM earphone recommendation that is quite all rounded, similar to the ATH-M50. Of course not as good but similar in characteristics. Good clarity, good bass. An all-rounder.

Hi, I had a chance to try the Beats Mixr last Friday, I like it. I mainly listen to electronic dance music, EDM and occasionally some jazz and a little bit of RnB.
I liked how i can feel the bass. It's punchy, strong and makes my music come to life.
As all of you may have figured out, I don't really care that much for the trebles or soundstage of the headphone.

My question is, what other headphones would you recommend besides these Mixr's based on the preference I have given above (BASS). I don't want some clarity shit with no bass feel, just a pair of cans that would blow/rattle my heart out when I put them on --> BOOM BOOM BOOM.

Please don't recommend me the Sony XB1000. I don't have elephant ears.

Budget is 1k.

BASS --> Closed type --> Quite portable --> Clarity/soundstage/yadayadayada aka not important.

hi guys, i need something tough IEM that at least last a year.
i have been using philips IEM with my mp3 for over 5 years just because the level of output is nice with me but the earphone/IEM itself very fragile..
every year i have to buy 2 or 3 that cost me RM 115 every time.
i think i saw some tough IEM that from beats i think that cost almost RM 500. Is there something similar that cost around RM 300??
