QUOTE(cyh03176 @ Dec 21 2012, 09:37 PM) i bought mine in tong lee, ground floor. it is located beside the home theatre system shop (walk up the stairs, got chinese restaurant etc). you can audition there, they will gladly help you but only limited models (obviously not the expensive ones like se535 lol) thanks for those wonderful hints!but if you have transport, proceed to jaben near sunway. they have models and professionals to advice you. in addition, you get 2 years warranty instead of 1. well, just top up abit more to get the se215 then. you can only get jays below that budget and those are bass heavy earphone but still is a decent upgrade from stock. or you can buy some sennheisers but i never like low-end sennheiser because i find the sound is flat and boring, but they are clear for vocal. my recommendations: shure se215 final audio design adagio 3 jays a-jay 3 sony xba-1 might as well fork a fortune la maybe around 500..have to test first..now I was like how good can a earphone be? mine creative earphone $150 already feel expensive..and great sound..that is categorized as stock earphone??my word..lol..still living in my small world.. hopefully something can impress me..then I wont care the money anymore.. heard of jaben too might abit far..hope can find something good at lowyat plaza.. |

Hi guys, need some recommendation in buying headphone
- Your rig : PC - Sound card from mobo (do i need any dedicated sound card? if yes please recommend, budget 100-200 is fine) - What type of usage : (movies (1080p those type)/ Mainly for gaming (rts like starcraft 2)/ music (instrumental and pop) - Headphone/ earphone type : I heard "opened" type of headphone may leak sound and ppl around can hear, but more comfortable than closed 1? it's not really an issue for my case, so is it better to get an opened headphone ? Opened vs circumaural, which 1 more comfortable for long hours in front of comp ? - Other requirements : ( looking for 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc) , Sometimes i lie on bed and watch movie, i am afraid that wired headphone not long enuf @_@ any solution for this if i buy a wired 1 ? As for mic, doesn't really matter to me budget for headphone can go up to 500-600 ish, but i heard from my fren saying that 200bucks + shud be enuf to get a decent 1 already? Please advise ya thanks. If possible i dun wanna push to the max budget oso lol This post has been edited by CuteDay: Dec 26 2012, 02:14 AM |
