So, what is the best hero(ine) character career to choose since you've playthrough 10 characters already?
Thanks in advance for any constructive information provided.
It depends on your play style. My personal preference is Monk > DH = Barb > WD > Wiz.
Can't comment much about Inferno play on all the classes as I only manage to gear most of them to be Inferno Act 1 viable -- no legendary drop (not one since 1.04). Anyone want to drop a hundred million gold my way?

Below are personal opinions / observations / 2 cents (largely based on 1.03 as only the male Wiz and WD were trained after 1.04. After that I mainly focused on my Monk, so I do not have much playtime on 1.04 with the other classes):
Monk- Starting out with a Monk is easier due to the healing skills
- Good mix of single and multi-target skills to choose from
- Mantras are a big help to cover shortcomings in gear, but I tend to stick to Manta of Conviction - Overawe since I like to *try* to kill things before they kill me
Barbarian- Quite strong at low levels even with some less than optimal gear (that's the way Jay Wilson likes it

), at least until late Nightmare
- Issues with crowd control (most mobbing skills are either slow or uses quite a bit of fury for less than optimal damage return, but should now be better with 1.04). I trained mainly at Arreat Crater, and this is the only class that has trouble with Crawlers (and to think the reason I train there is because of the horde of Crawlers and the yummy massacre exp)
- Noticed a much heavier reliance on LoH / regen / Provocation skill (compared to other classes) from late Nightmare onwards (probably due to lack of effective crowd control as per above)
- Was able to solo Inferno Diablo with under 1m worth of gears (15k DPS with high regen/s and LoH). I guess anyone on a budget and would like to try soloing bosses, this is the class for the job
Demon Hunter- Love their mobility
- One of the easier classes to string together killing streaks (mmmmm bonus exp

)
- Need to be quick with your fingers to Vault / Smokescreen / Gloom due to inherent squishiness (some of the skills have poor LoH coefficient)
Witch Doctor- Pre-1.04, was a chore to train due to slower attack animation and often useless pets. Kiting was mandatory in most cases
- Teamed up with brother's Witch Doctor and cc-ed Inferno Diablo to death.

Took about 20 minutes with our crap DPS
- Post-1.04, the stronger pets made training a breeze. Except for some strong elite combos, you find yourself just involved standing in one spot spamming your AOE skill of choice (I generally use Firebomb - Fire Pit and Acid Cloud - Rain) while your pets facetank everything
- Requires a bit of Mana management. Need to find the right "rhythm" when alternating between attack skills
- Nice LoH coefficient on AOE skills. With decent LoH, you'll rarely die as long as there's something for you to hit (and you're not undergeared)
Wizard- Primary skills have very poor LoH coefficient. Had to rely more on regen gear for healing
- I feel their primary skills' damage is the weakest of all the classes. Takes a long time to kill something if Arcane power is too low to use one of the big hitter (compared to other classes with similar paper DPS)
- Heavy reliance on crit for Arcane regeneration
- Did try CMWW (I have ~40% cc). Mashing keys not really my thing
