Conti MC5 should be better, you might want to consider Michelin tyres, they are quite good too, but a little more expensive.

CC5 also very long in the market which feedback is not too bad.

In between MC5 and CC5, which one better?

I'm using Michelin XM2s on my BLM. A big improvement over the stock Silverstones. Tyre noise is significantly quieter and feels more comfortable. Holes are absorbed with less impact. Performance-wise, since its a comfort tyre, so I can't say much on that. But I often do a lot of spirited driving and the tires hold the car on the road quite well.

Using both MX2 n CC5 wid d same size as urs on 2 Corollas now. CC5 if not mistaken is about 2 or 3 yrs in d market, so i think u got it mixed up wit d CC1 predecessor which is still fitted to some new Nissans.

Between tis 2, CC5 is a lot softer n comfier than d XM2. U can chk out my own findings here

No chance to test out d MC5 coz d shop didnt hv my size but from d looks of its grooves, I wont b surprised if it performs a bit better than d ol XM1.

C-Drive 2 would be better. Very satisfy with the C-Drive 2 i change at nestum workshop.

Hi Nestum, seem you are right. Except BLM change to 16" RIM only can use MC5.

So the only choice now is XM2 & CC5

Have a better clear view. IF quality between 2 are similar, is better go by Conti CC5 right? As cheaper

Thanks for your info Good.. But does South East Asia has any similar review? As we are summer all around the years while UK has 4 season. It's different with our region.

general opinions are stay away from cc5 unless you drive very gentle especially during rain/wet conditions

Please avoid CC5, I used CC5 before for 8 months, and I would say it's not a safe tyre, especially on wet roads. The only good thing about CC5 is quietness, they are really really quiet tyres. Wet grip is bad for CC5, especially during corner on wet roads. If you insist to use CC5, please make sure u make every cornering (on wet road) at speed lower than 35km/h.

Im using 13" tyre, so I changed to michelin XM1 (because XM2 doesn't have R13 size). Feel much safer now.

i'm using CC5 and must say that its comfort is exceptional.when u run over speed bumps it feels as if your landing on a sponge or matress.

i can't vouch for the tyres in wet condition as my car is 986cc only, and i'm not a speed demon, but many others here caution about CC5 on wet, so you should take that into consideration too.

why not Michelin PS3 in exchange for XM2?
great review about that tyre from forumers here, as I'm on tight budget so I used CC5 instead

xm2 is noisier than cc5, but still certainly a lot better than stock tires
comfort wise, cc5 is above xm2, its their selling point afterall

bear in mind threads for comfort/silence tire will wear and tear faster/easier
considering your mileage is only 33K for 20 months it wont effect you much

use conti MC5...good tires...try it to believe it...cheaper than michelin...comfort...silent...good grip in both wet n dry..i use MC5 too..205/50/16..satisfied..i just done 2000+ km with it..minimal wear...it is assymetric thread..u can rotate the tire...i have tried 170+km during my journey from kch to miri and miri to kch...grip at corner...i want to try more than 170 but at that time my mum was with me so i dont want to risk it..if im alone i can make it more than 170km..last time i drive up to 200km using sumo firenza tires at the front...gt radial hpx at the back...using 204/45/16...good tires and cheap..based on my experiences..dont use silverstone...sometimes we use bugdet tire cos it was cheap...but u have to prioritize safety also...its all depends on u..good luck bro

I already use XM2, cause CC5 no stock at my place else i would try it out. Maybe next time definitely will try CC5 out. XM2 14" @ RM210.00/ea @ Muar
