in meter "Distance to empty"..yes..every full tank clocks up to 550km+- ..but try resetting the Trip distance whenever u pump a full tank...you will notice the reading of "distance to empty" and your "trip distance" is totally different. lol..

Still dilema in deciding for buying Honda City 1.5E or Kia Forte 2.0SX, although I know I should not compare between different Segment car , but I compare them because both fall into my budget.

Highway ... always good. If I can make it drop to 8L/100KM in city drive, I will be happy enough.

I am thinking about modify the car now in order to reduce the FC ....

What is the problem if we keep discuss FC here? This car is very worth to buy except the FC is a bit high compare to other car such as Vios, City and Elantra. I know it is heavy car but if you can make the FC on par with other cars, I can tell you this car will champion. I have no complain at all just I would like to learn about FC since I am new. Please dont stop anyone to discuss about FC.

Most of the Forte owner not reach, that's why they choose forte. If they are rich, they already go for Altis or Civic ...

We learn about how people keep their FC low and indirectly we promote sales of this car.

Once we have many people buy it, it will become famous and all the resale value will raise including spare part become cheaper.

Hi, is any 2.0 owner facing minor vibration during idling?
I mean after warm up n shifted at N.
Sometime it was really annoying me n affecting the comfort level, I suspected mouting problem but the SC said it was normal n common on all 2.0 car.
Thus wana double check here in order to go back n argue with the SC.

so how much should we insured our car??

hey guys, my car seems to have unusual vibration coming from the engine do you guys feel that too or is it just me?

- roughly how much FC for forte 2.0? say 80% city 20% highway.
- roughly how much is the servicing? (i've seen a maintenance schedule before but couldnt find it again)
- hows the legroom rear seat?

i'm still  dunno which to buy elantra or this. 
elantra - looks good but i think under power abit and kinda pricy
forte - looks plain but affordable.

I was in same dilemma like you last time about 4 weeks ago.

I went to the Hyundai, they told me the lower spec for Elantra is 92k, and they tried to provide me latest price list and print out for me. Once printed, they said "ooh.. price increased to 94 or 95k without reason... No new feature but increase price. I really !#@$!@#%$@!%$#

Not worth to get Elantra because they just increased the price for their own benefit due to high demand. We have to teach Innokom the lesson.

Well, good thing is Elantra save fuel for sure if compare to Forte.

I get Forte 1.6SX at the end about 10k cheaper than Elantra 1.6.. Feature is more and more safer.. Got ESP as well. Features a lot. Somemore, I am old already and I think Elantra is too young for me

Did you ask if the Battery Alternator for 1.6 is good enough to support Battery for 2.0L?

Hi all

After use for 6 months, my conclusion on the rattling noise of Forte is inevitible and no solution.

I believe the dashboard material is not weather proof and it will expand or contract with weather. The soundproof engineering is poor and the fiction of the gap that causes rattling noise. I could hear the noise coming from clock area, side door, rear panel etc. 

So we have to bared with the nagging forte for years to come. Or just turn on the music louder to mask out those noise.
