if times permit, gonna have my WHITE 1.6sx FORTE next week. loan already approved,really fast.

Just collected my car yesterday from Mr. Loh after me postponed it for 3 days..
Really no hassle and trusted person.
Only dealing with him thru SMS all the way of the process.
Only yesterday met him for the first time.
Just can't believe i owned a forte..

Popular issue
1. rattling sound - so far no rattling sound,hope not to hear any...
2. radio reception - mine is clear.
3. Hu unit - gps, not try yet. Dvd, ok. Bluetooth, play music from hp, great. Call function, great.
4. Fc - based on trip metre only, 11l sumthing...sweat...hehehhe

Other than that, power ratio, torque or watsoever for me acceptable since nvr owned a same segment of car b4 to compare.
So far really satisfied.

[I]Hello, just joining this forum, i am here to give some sharing to those new forte owner ,see wheather they have face the same problem with me. My new 1.6Sx forte just recently taken on 27/7/2012 , as at now travelling 1111km ++ below is what i face the problem:

-Hi, my car is only 2 weeks old and not even reach 1k km yet.

1) Reverse Camera Problem, sometime working sometime is no response at all.

- have no problem so far, not really depend on this. makes me more confusing.prefer to use the mirror.

2) Air conditional while during hot sun will not cold, or need too long to cold. (even i have already tinted 85% infra red)

- my air cond is functioning very well. very cold. not even tint my car yet.

3) Front Big Light after heavy rain have vapor.

- not even check, mb later.

4) Fuel consumption very high....( First full tank : RM86.15 only 348km ) 100% ipoh city
( Second full tank : RM85.25 only 378.5km ) 100% ipoh city
( Third full tank : _______)

- haven't try full tank.but last fueled up(3rd times) was rm50 last sunday (shell),jalan2 raya + everyday travel tp work 50%city + 50% hi way.until today still got 1 bar. trip meter show 10.2l/km. first week was 11+l/km.

5 SpeedNavi GPS updating problem.
-not update nor using it yet.

meter reading 6.3l/km
speed 100-110


yesterday from kl to klang then shah alam
meter read 7.3l/km
speed 90-100

mine already reached 1k.
need to send for service this week.

At the service ctr now,jenwey bdr baru klang for my first service.am the early bird. Cost shud be 230+.using fully syn engine oil.my only complaint is the fuel lid,really hard to open.and oso they advised me, do not do the engine wash for forte.and dont do any modification e.g hid or ledlamp.will void warranty...
