look guys, cant we all just agree that this is a Camera Phone Shots Gallery?

so keep DSLRs out of the topic alright? even the best camera phone is RM1400, and it has so many other tasks to handle. DSLRs costs at least twice as much, and its only job is to take pictures.

that's like comparing the small blade in a swiss knife army to a meat chopper. it's pointless.

my belief is that we are trying to show how each phone performs here AS A CAMERA PHONE. why the hell are u guys comparing it with DSLRs? that's like seeing someone taking a picture of the moon with his phone, and then u tell him "why bother? the Hubble telescope can take pics of the moon way better than your phone"

come on guys, we're better than this. this used to be a thread that i frequently visit just to see the beautiful pics taken by u guys. edit or not edited, it doesnt matter.

if aspire likes non-edited pics, then so be it. i can understand why he felt that way, cos if the pics are edited, then it will be hard to tell which phone performs better than the other, cos some people might have better editing skills than others.

but even if u want to edit, then so be it. what's wrong with wanting your pictures to look nice and share it with the world?

edit or non-edited, im sure either one is better than posts filled with pointless bickering in this thread.

i used to edit my pics too. cos i thought only by editing it will look great. but then guys like aspire, danielcmugen, and eidda, proved me wrong. especially daniel, he picked up the pace really quick and in just a short time, his pics from the lumia 800 looks outstanding even without editing (compared to other camera phones of course, not to DSLRs). at first i couldnt believe he was using the lumia 800.

and i thought damn, even their non-edited pics look much better than my edited ones. so i strived to take better pics without editing. just to see how good the pic can turn out to be.

i got nothing against editing by the way. as long as they're pics instead of wall of texts, im fine with it.

lol, i think the edited looks better.

but danielcmugen can take unedited pics that look as good as the edited ones that zuhaili took. (sorry bro, but his pics are really nice)

the colours for lumia 800 is very vibrant. maybe a bit unnatural, but the resulting pics look stunning, no need to edit.

nokia 808 colours more natural, it doesnt enhance the colours. pics doesnt look very stunning, but colours are more accurate. i believe the 808 can take excellent pictures, but not by my hands. hahaha. i wonder if daniel upgrade to 808, how his photos turn out

dont want la.. if he use 808 then no one can challenge ady.. hahaha

still a long way to catchup with aspire, eidda, daniel, and the other sifus..

actually much better than lumia 610's camera. im sure after a while he can take excellent shots.

at least the noise not as much as 610.

Guys, just wondering, what software u guys use to resize your pics?
cos i tried various softwares, and all not much difference compared to resize with just mspaint. either after resize will get artifacts and noise (as u can see at the edges of buildings in background), or no artifacts and noise but pic slightly blurred.

i know photobucket can auto-resize, but usually will result in loss of details as well. same goes to imgur. i thought flickr would be better since lots of photographers use it, but still the same.
before this using lumia 610, doesnt matter which software or what image hosting site, cos already got a lot of noise in the picture anyway. haha

later wanna try picasa and see how it goes.

i mean like when i convert the 8mp or 38mp images to 800x600, especially night scenes, always will create noise at the dark areas. the original pics dont have that much noise. among flickr, picasa, photobucket, and imgur, i found that flickr is the best, but still got noise even if i upload the original big size pic without noise. this was never a problem before this, since all my phones previously got noise. so it's no issue.. haha

some examples:
Picasa, Imgur, Flickr, in that order. If u notice, in all pics, the buildings furthest in background all got some noise and stray pixels surrounding them. the original file doesnt have that. (pic in Imgur has been pre-resized by ms paint)

original full reso as in the 38MP one?

for bigger pics, u can just change the link for picasa to the size u want. in this hyperlink, it is stated /s800/, for 800pixel wide. u can change the value to get the size u want. /s8000/ should do the trick.
