There is one at PLUS highway From Bangi Exit towards Kajang Exit (KL Bound). Few hundred meters from Kajang Exit if not mistaken. I saw the flash from the AES thingy on the left side yesterday.

I think we need the GPS location for all the AES location and have it as a POI.

QUOTE(Jo_da48 @ Sep 24 2012, 08:40 AM) The company will be hardwork to ensure the Summor going into your hand and pay Sigh.. we have high car prices, all highways are toll ways, now the government squeeze the rakyat by these AES? "In the case of the AES project, there are three tiers agreed upon with different commissions applicable. In the first tier, each company will receive RM16 per valid summons (ie the fine is paid after due process is observed) and this tier is capped at RM5 million per company. Assuming that 10 million summonses are issued each year (only based on offences captured by the AES) and fines of up to RM300 are paid on 50% of the summonses, each company would get up to RM80 million. When the second tier kicks in, each company will be entitled to 50% of the fines collected with a cap of RM270 million. For Tier 3, the commission will reduce to 7.5% and the projection is RM66 million per company by this time. There is a 5-year contractual period for the development, operation and maintenance of the system by the two companies and after that, the government can either take over or extend the contract (and presumably new terms can be negotiated as well). " Why is it RM16 per summon anyways? I think its too high... |

QUOTE(Maknusia @ Sep 26 2012, 10:15 PM) and you are happy for beating the traffic light?! not realizing you are endangering other commuters and yourself as well. Can't blame this guy. Some ulu area the traffic light timing is super stupid one. When no car its green, when there are lots of cars its red. |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Sep 27 2012, 07:58 AM) Regardless of the timing, the lights are there for a purpose. In western European countries, nobody beats the lights. Even in remote regions like Andenes, northern Norway (above the artic circle), they respect the lights and pedestrians. Only 3 cabs in this city and yet the cab will never move until all passengers have fixed their seat belts. I once asked the driver and he said 'we were brought up to respect the law regardless'. This is something that Malaysians will need to learn. The cab driver is probably trying to buy more time and can charge the customer more or plain lazy. |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Sep 27 2012, 11:52 AM) nola, he is right, this is a common practice in Europe, in certain countries in Europe, the bus driver won't move if you have not gotten to your seat, and if the bus is full, all the aunties will look at you, so you know you have to get down and take the next bus. lol, funny experience... With Malaysian mentality it will probably take another 50 years... Everyday when I go back home from work there are always people abusing the emergency lane no matter whether its a Proton, Toyota, Merc, BMW or Porsche. You think they will stop their overpriced recond cars for pedestrians??? In another 50 years maybe...in switzerland, whenever you are beside the road on the pedestrian zebra line there, all the cars will stop and let you pass. even if you dont have the intention to cross the road, they will also stop their car and let you thru... we really should have learn all these.... |
