1.50 is a bit too far stretch, I predict IPO opening price may be around 1.30.

1.50, means around 4.4% yield, which net yield become only 4%. A bit too low yield already. Little different than FD.

But DPU is expected to go up over the longer term, as rental revision increment may be strong for high traffic/popular mall.
As mall lease generally won't more than 1-2 years before there is rental revision. Correct me if I am wrong.

The difference between projected DPU and actual DPU will not be much if no rental increase in that particular FY, is it correct?

Ya my bad,
just checked my record, indeed it was paid in May
sorry for the mistake doh.gif

Got the wrong info from bursa website
saying "Individual Period for Current Year Quarter 30/6/2012"
Proposed/Declared dividend per share 130sen
This column should have the figure '0'
so misleading rclxub.gif

The new about to list Astro is also not the same old Astro. The new one is smaller without overseas business, and the value is 100% more than the old one. Although Ananda gives some premium to the shareholders when privatize, but this is not what some shareholders bought it for at the first place. They want to hold it for another critical growth stage of 2 years, and Ananda took that away from them.

When one holds a dead fish stock for 5 years hoping its value finally unlocked and its potential realized, but then the boss suddenly came in to privatize it for a premium of 30%. So what? That 5 years?? 30%?? I want 300% lah!! Then 2 years later, the company relisted at a premium of 300%. How past shareholders feel?

Got premium still better than offered at discounted price, right? tongue.gif
Unlike those treat-shareholders-like-ants type companies, eg Bonia, San Miguel shakehead.gif

Anyway, I also dislike this type of practice
listed a company, good profits then take private
after a short period of years and list again in the name of 'unlocking values'
milking investors as much as they could rclxub.gif
