Like this also can? Last I remember, Top Glove said they were concern about the much higher labour costs due to the min wages issue.

RM vs USD is weaken i think............USD has go stronger without the QE3

but glove facing the uncertain issue of minimum RM900 worker's salary................dun know how the impact for them, this the reason cause them unable surge even the rubber price in low

Weaken? Weaker or stronger issue is not something to think leh. You need to refer to actual market data.

Yesterday, ringgit closed firmer against the USD again.

Bank Negara already announced will reduce surplus liquidity in the system..

not only Topglove, other natural rubber glovemakers are labor intensive, but bear in mind the price gap between Nitrile and NR will widen if they factor in the increase of wages. Gas price also will goes up in the future.

I still can't figure why NR glovemaker unable to enter fully automation, by this they would cut down wages which will definitely fluctuate in the future. I'm not in this industry so i can't make comment of this, any sifu mind to enlighten about this issue

Last time, getting cheap labour is so easy. Now they kena. Which is why some NR glovemakers are rushing the full automation idea.

Not all rushing for full automation idea yet if i'm not mistaken.

These are their future plan:-
Supermax - focus on branding and marketing
Kossan and Topglove - focus on upstream (rubber plantation)

Both got pro and con, rubber plantation need at least 5 years to bear fruit, this one need long long term

Interesting. I feel the big super boom time for glovemakers has passed and what we are seeing is only some earnings recovery.
