Is it fine to drink it hot? I mean the shakes. I blended my serious mass with hot everyday milk.

Read somewhere here before that we're not advised to take it hot because it messes up the protein or something.

Need someone to correct me on this if I'm wrong. Appreciate it.

@veeeye
Not recommended as it will cause the protein to bind this making it difficult to blend or mix. Think of what has opens to egg whites when heat is applied.drink it cold or at room temperature.

The only problem with mixing protein powder and a hot liquid is that the powder will tend to clump, making it harder to mix. And protein will be broken down into it's animo acid makeup when it gets digested in the stomach anyway.

@andyfriends
it is ok. but if you don't shake it while letting it sit for that long, you're gonna see some sediments at the bottom of your container. so just give it a shake to down all that protein goodness.

I don't think its appropraite to take it with HOT water, whats wrong with room temp water or cold water? your shake will taste and feel like ice milk shake..

It depends on the person's preferences. you like your shake to be cold, up to you. TS like his tea hot, that his preference. Or is it any law that say protein must be taken cold? AFAIK, there isn't.

If the shake is too thick, it's fine to add more water right?

not a problem. it's just water. i would strongly recommend that you use room temp or cold water though. it's a matter of being able to mix the protein with the liquid of your choice. you could mix it with cold milk like i do with some natural peanut butter if you're in a hurry or having a busy day.

Noted, thanks. I usually blend it with Everyday powdered milk, and I add water afterward.
