Hi All,

I'd like to know how much does it cost roughly to install a bathroom exhaust fan, wall mounted. I'm on the 1st floor of the apartment.
Installation would include wiring and hacking a hole on the wall to fit the exhaust fan.

Also, installation of water heater (including wiring).

If you've any recommended contractor who did it before, would love to have the contact too!

I'm in Penang. I was quoted RM20 for installation of each fan, RM10 for each light/lamp/bulb and RM80 for water heater, I think the cost is reasonable.

mine, rm15 each fan, rm55 water heater. light rm5

u guys water heater so cheap one...

my water heater installation cost me rm500 wo!! But it is the 'tong' type ...not the usual type

RM55 for water heater installation is very cheap! I have been quoted more than RM100 for wiring on water heater alone and RM160-180 for the exhaust fan installation, think the price is on the high side ya?

pls note, the price i mentioned, are point ready already. no external wiring

Wall mount of fan, need hacking. No wiring need to do wiring. For heater, If write tap direct from socket is cheaper but looking for trouble.

Every configuration is difference, when you quote the price better quote what was done. Is totally difference job for installing heater with wires ready and without wires ready. Very misleading.

think to buy water heater for my new rent apartment. not sure if buy online and then upah contractor do installation, or buy directly from shop which provide also installation
