openbox decoder? ops...im a super noob on this... mean if i get another same type of decoder? or a special type? so i will need a splitter at the end of the cable or i can jus split it from the dish there?

I have tested the coaxial cable by connecting it to my neighbor's astro lnb, and it just work well. My beyond decoder can lock the signal. But when I plug it back to my lnb, it just do nothing. Not even showing any sign of signal and stay unlocked. My thought if I just install the dish inside my house, and got it pointed to the right angle, shouldnt it be receiving signal or maybe at least a little? Correct me if I'm wrong. Tq

Well I did that by installing the dish on the roof top. Point it to the sky, adjust the angle just like the others and connect the coaxial cable directly to the decoder. But I'm not getting anything. So I unplugged the coaxial, then connect it to the other dish, as I said before, the signal locked successfully. So could be me wrongly adjust the angle or the LNB faulty. But are there any cases where the LNB is faulty on the box?

Bro, can i use this for beyond dish (but i dont subscribe to beyond, only normal astro)? I got my old decoder without dish. So can i use it with the beyond dish for normal astro and another one for njoi?

bro..I currently have a single astro dish to a single decoder in my living area. I plan to have my bedroom which has an existing astro port to view Astro as well..I can buy this but I think I need another astro decoder for my room, right? Or is there any replacement product for the decoder?

Not sure is the lightning surge, one black out the LNB no longer working...
Using the spare now...

Btw, any tips to protect the LNB??
My LNB does not seems to last more than 1 year >.<
Some people put a tranparent plastic container to cover the LNB, does it really help???
