How can I change the ringtone & notification sound. Seem like fix with limited tones. Thanks...

My Samsung Galaxy S3 779MB of RAM. Every time when I look into the task manager it shows me almost 600-700MB usage where as such there are no applications working. How can I reduce the RAM usage in my phone.... Is that normal.

why notification tone only can play very short only like 1 or 2 second tone. Although I use a longer duration one.
