Am using stock kernel that came with vanam2.1. works great although lacks of certain cool feature from siyah.
battery life is great
smoothness in gaming is great
Gonna use it till something greater comes . wink.gif

is this guide good enough?

http://galaxys3root.com/galaxy-s3-roms/how...oted-galaxy-s3/

so this step is a must right?

Step 3. Choose “wipe data/factory reset”.

that was what it used to be compulsory, but not now since wipes are scripted into NO WIPE ROMs, but recommended still
*
QUOTE(Zhao @ Aug 10 2012, 10:52 PM)
no need to wipe unless when you flash a rom and theres some broken apk ,weird error ,then only you wipe.
*
hmm.. if I did a Titanium Backup already. then I can just wipe data and factory reset right? since I can restore it with tb later. If that is the case, might as well, wipe it first before flash the ROM?

http://netkups.com/?d=25a332360500c

is it good? or should I just stick with the original stock kernal?

the wanam kernal does not have any description or list in it

Um, the Wanam Stockmod kernel gets flashed automatically every time you flash any version of Wanamlite.
*
hmm.. but he put it under "add ons"

http://wanamlite.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=3710

so should I flash the kernal as well? or just flash this is enough?

GT-I9300_WanamLite.XXBLG9.V2.1.NO-WIPE.zip

many thanks

Use recovery mode if the add on is full zip ( after extract you see several folders ). If extracted is a single tar file than use mobile odin
These is understood . Developer assume you know how to flash

guys.. is this normal?

I used TB batch files to "backup user apps and system data"

after flash another ROM, I restore using TB "Restore user apps and system data"

However, after restore, I open my game and found out that I need to download the files all over again, is this normal? For example, I need to download the files for Real racing 2 again when I open the apps.

I thought TB is suppose to restore those files as well?

Guys.. I know this has been asked before, but I would just like to make sure that:

1) I am currently running wanam 2.1. So to flash to wanam 2.2, I just follow the steps (cwm recovery, wipe, flash) I used to flash wanam 2.1 right?

2) I suppose my internal sd data will be gone after flashing to wanam 2.2 right?

3) When I flash wanam 2.1 last time, I backup using Titanium backup, I choose the option from batch file "Backup all user apps + system data". After flashing rom, I restored using "Restore missing apps + all system data". The problem is, when I on my games (dead trigger , Real racing 2), it prompt me to redownload all those big files again. Am I doing something wrong with my TB backup? Or I need to use some other apps or ways to backup those downloaded games files?

4) If I backup using "Backup all user apps + system data" and restore using "Restore missing apps + all system data", will all those junk files, apps, bloatware be restored back to my phone?

Sorry for the long list of questions.

Many Thanks!

Very nice indeed.. Hmm.. this is just a theme, it wont affect the rom that I am having right? Eg. I am using wanam 2.1, so the rom will still remains, just the change in theme only right?

Thanks

Is there a way I can miltitask without pressing the home button? Coz leceh have to press for 2 secs before can see the multitask panel. Is there a faster way? Maybe some apps to do that. Don't suggest swipe on. It's not good
