Hey, just to confirm, you said the black BG mod works exactly the same like on wanam2.0 right? So no need for any changes or anything and flash as I did on wanam2.0?

Cheers mate
*
Yep. No changes.

@eiraku
a quick question

in doin the swap for the external memory card
do i need to reformat the card or just leave the files in the memory card as it wont touch it
exfat supported?

in work hard to read xda lolz
*
No need reformat. You need a computer and a memory card reader though. EVEN SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BACK UP THE DATA YOU HAVE ON YOUR MEMORY CARD - just in case.

Use a software called Minitools Partition Manager (its free). You can resize the partitions on your memory card without reformatting it. No data lost asso.

After resize partition, create new primary partition from the free space and format it as "linux swap". Pop into S3, flash Yank555's script and you're done.

Last I checked got a couple of people running swap on exfat with 64GB cards no problem.

@cloudfan: S-off? We dun need no S-off here lol.

see the battery monitor and see which app during that duration of drain is using the most power.

then check the settings for the program such as sync and gps which are usually the culprits of battery drain. also check on googleplay other user comments about the battery life of the app whether they are also having the same issues.

i saw a few batter monitoring apps but i too am still unsure which is the best/accurate hmm.gif

For example this betterbatterystats app

Could Samsung be launching a black version of the S3? hmm.gif

Or just a pebble blue one with taken at an angle that makes it look black.

well if you hold down menu button (the middle button right at the bottom) until a menu pops up, you can then press on task manager and end the tasks to force close running apps.

for automation for force closing apps periodically, people use apps like easy task killer
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...e=search_result

i'm also using that in conjunction with easy battery saver which automatically turns off services like wifi, gps and other power sucking features when not in use
