I'm moving from Penang to KL soon, and I'll need a lot of boxes to pack things. Unfortunately most of the shops aren't willing to give them out.

Anybody have a tip where I can get some boxes on Penang?

Does the company you work for have an a/c with DHL, UPS or FEDEX?

Just get your admin to request boxes from them and it's FREE. Plus the quality of the boxes are really thick and sturdy.

basically i'll find out at those old school grocery shops, i'll try luck at a few grocery shops too. out of 10, 3 to 4 shops are generously giving away some boxes.

second trick is try purchase some goods from the shop and whilst will ask for some boxes before leaving.

Just go to queensbay jusco, grab there for free. Its often place outside cashier counter

2 months ago i moved out (but my place was in kajang). What i did was i went to Giant and they had a full contena of empty boxes of various sizes to recycle at the back outside of their building.
I requested to have some from the security and they said it was free if i didnt get them to resell (meant not too many). So i went there day by day until i got enough, ha ha ha!

Last time when I'm moving house, I just go to Giant/Tesco etc and ask the staffs for boxes. They gave me 6 big boxes for free.

Grab it during hypermart or supermart sales for FREE~

go to those big super/hypermarket

they usually give it free coz they have too much of it.

you go to those chinaman grocery shop minimarket they slaughter u kaw kaw
