10w-30 or 10w-40 is the viscosity grade of an engine oil. The minimum stated on the user manual is 10w-30. The higher the number, the "heavier" the oil, means more protection but your engine will become sluggish and fuel consumption will increase. 10w-30 or 10w-40 is good enough for our gaga.

semi-syn because they last 5k km, and your next free service is 5k km. If you use fully syn then it will be a waste because they are more expensive and suppose to last 10k km, but you need to service by your 5k km. Unless you wanna go cheapskate style and use mineral oil, also for 5k km.

I'm not an oil guy, but theoretically the difference between these types is the service interval, mineral 5k km, semi syn 7k km, fully syn 10k km. This is all you need to know so I won't go into the details why the difference.

so for a 5k km interval, you can go either mineral or semi syn, but since semi syn breaks down slower than mineral (hence the theoretical 7k km interval), is should offer better protection than mineral at 5k km.

Theoretical conclusion, semi syn is the best balance between cost and protection.

Because of the spur-of-the-moment purchase of the ributtahi, now pokai like mad dy.

GPMM - I know what you mean. When I installed the FSB, the sloppiness of the rear becomes even more amplified. Steering becomes more sensitive.

I'm gonna give a quick review of the RSB tonite.

As for the ributtahi, first impressions is:

- low speed acceleration slightly improved, on a hot day it is not as sluggish anymore.
- the most improvement notice is when climbing slope, smoother and more powerful.
- high speed acceleration not tested yet. Havent tried WOT, which is where the FS should make the most difference since the engine will be running rich due to open-loop...

I am assuming the ECU will need a few days to adjust, so I'll be reviewing again then.
