Today I accelerate solidly from Tun Razak ramp up to MEX, all the way until MEX toll. Noticed that my catalytic converter temperature can spike up to 922 celcius with firestorm. I think the cat con is at maximum temperature before it gets destroyed.

Now I know the power of complete combustion.

Not so good, but don't worry, it's because of my NOS, you guys using petrol won't have such high temperature.

More-recent catalytic-converter designs are not as susceptible to temperature damage and can withstand sustained temperatures of 900 °C (1,650 °F).

And I exceeded that so called more-recent limit.
The max I've seen is 800+ a bit. If fully running on petrol, 700+.

800 or 900 degress celcius, ca con is wear and tear item also. Thats why manufacturers give only one year warranty fore exhaust system.

Got onto the floor and had a good look at all tyres. No foreign objects stuck.

Did a test drive in my car park. The sound is there, but it's very faint. You can hear it only if everything else is quiet. Seems to be coming from the left side.

My gut feeling is that it's merely an annoyance. The car feels perfectly normal while moving. Still, better safe than sorry.

Anyway, the sound seems to be related to something between the road surface and the tyre thread, not the tyres themself. Oh the sound is more like, rip rip rip rather than pak pak pak.

Also me hv used 2 other makes of filters (all together with ori mesh filter) and no such sounds either...

My experiences...
Most paper cabin filters fits nicely in2 the rect cut-out above the blower fan...ie if only the filter is inserted by itself.
However, if wanna put in the ori mesh filter, the paper one needs 2b inserted 2gether at same time!

As far as I know, since BLM/FL/FLX/FLX SE all uses SANDEN, and the only designed is the same blower and same casing, even mounting are the same. Only difference is the casing hook, some on the left/some on the right.

I will finish the last batch when I come back from Melaka(only if they still want it after so many complaints about wheeeee sound). I'm not going into rage mood, just felt responsible after introducing product to people with so much of poison in the end the side effect even worst than the good it can bring, that totally defeat the purpose. Worst is, this is going to be the third Thursday I'm bringing filters to work, my waifu now wondering whether -m going to give her extra RM160 every Friday
