I had encounter wind noise at the back (rear passenger left and right side) when drive at the speed 80km/h and above.

Anyone facing this problem and already rectified it? where is the wind noise come from and how to solve it?

Any proton service centre near KL area can resolve this problem? I had sent to service centre but still cannot fix it.

Would be appreciate if anyone can help.

If i am not mistaken, the wind noise coming from the small window at the passenger door. You have 3 options

1) Buy playdoh , tape or something that can cover the rubber of the small window.

2) Buy silicone glue and glue the rubber

3) Sent to SC again and order replacement

I had sent to SC to replace rubber for the small window but still cannot be solve. After that i had use playdoh to cover it but it is still cannot resolved. In this case, I suspect the rubber at the rear door has defect but not really sure.

I sent my preve to Cose to check this wind sound problem. Though it is not 100% sound proof, but very much better than before.

how to answer u like that? you ask someone sit behind and listen or u ask some one drive your car and u sit behind listen lor...

I ask somebody to drive and I sit behind. The wind noise seems like come from the small window but possible from the door rubber. the 2 parts just few cm away only.

Mine was detected at the exterior, there is a tiny gap between the joint at the top of the small window. I isolated this by sticking a little blue tack/play doh over the gap (on the exterior). Will know if they have sealed/solved this when I get my car back from COSE, hopefully today or tomorrow.

Do you mind to inform me once you fix it? Which proton service centre are you going?

u can try cover the whole triangle thing with tape first. especially those in between gap. then test it out see still have wind noise or not... if conform thats the place. use silicon to seal it if u dont want trouble go proton. or go proton show them.
*
will try out 1st. hope the result is satistfy. Not dare to use silicone. afraid void warantty. after proton has new rubber, will go and change it

i notice that if those who ask gf about preve and forte. Most of the ladies will prefer forte. usually ladies will prefer stylish, design and brand. Even Preve is using better engine and DSG gearbox, they still choosing forte.

I will say that no need to ask their opinion la unless buying a car for them as we knew they choose brand & design over spec and features.

I mean majority and of course there are ladies have knowledge in car.

i intro my female friend about Forte last time. She don't like the Forte design and she told me VIOS more comfort, more power and suspension is good as well. Not worth to get forte

mat type... hyperflex.. 6mm tebal.. standard. its heavy.. after u put this your car gain about 10kg weight. that why i am looking for light weight rim to contra back the weight of the sound proof. so u better think twice before u do it... sound proof is good.. but make the car heavier mean more fc
*
haha suddenly think of efficient way and save cost.

Eat less and reduce your weight to contra back
