just booked preve cfe premium yesterday..

the salesman ask me to choose 2 colour for the car..my priority is red..then silver..

today morning got email from them, they already booking the silver colour. then i called the salesman, he said red colour have no stock, maybe need to wait 3 months..silver colour got stock, maybe next month can get.

but i really wanted red colour..huhu..can somebody check for me is it true red colour have low production compared silver?

then..is it possible to transfer that car to another proton dealer? here i booked with eon sri manjung..still in perak and ipoh-manjung not far away..haha..can ar?

actually there are no deposit coz i applied graduate scheme (100% loan)..only paid rm50 for booking fees.

loan with bank islam ipoh branch (today afternoon the bank called me for confirmation and additional info).

i'm ok if lost rm50 just to get the car more earlier with colour that i prefer..but might 'hurt' the SA..

noted! for sure i will check the chasis number first. is not that i dont want accept offer by bro allen, but will have difficulties later (eg: to face the SA to cancel my booking, need to travel to manjung-ipoh). unless at critical point, then for sure i change to allen..hehe.. icon_rolleyes.gif

sunday (2/9/2012) car arrived from tanjung malim factory.. rclxms.gif
yesterday (3/9/2012) signed loan agreement at bank.. moneyflies.gif

today lunch time viewed the car..test the car for a while (power window, start button, auto flip side mirror)..now waiting for registration..maybe this saturday can take the car..now feeling so excited!! rclxm9.gif

my chassis number 13xxx..preve fire red offered by bro Allen 14xxx..so maybe my unit is old stock, kept inside factory for a long time.. blush.gif

Dunno..SA said maybe cost for red paint expensive.. shocking.gif

Or maybe proton will use fire red for special edition preve (just like satria neo R3)

Expensive, supplier prob is not the real reason.

I went test drive last saturday at Mutiara D'sara COSE, SA said Red got paint problem.. During QC, they realise got uneven patches of paint, so had to redo.. then another car same prob, got patches, redo.. redo...redo..

so proton decided to stop, bcos they cant afford to repaint the car every time..

So I ask la, isnt the Persona/Exora red is the same? they said its almost the same, but not exactly.. so cant use the same paint.. this im not too sure la whether make sense or not.. bcos to me, the red looks the same.

coz before this i drive satria 1.3 carburetor year made 1996, so when drive this car..it just like a "culture shock" to me..haha!

when enter D..release brake..the car can move easily, slowly..

then press accel pedal..yeah, it take some seconds to accelerate..but engine still new, so it will feel abit "berat"..

overall..at the moment, i'm very satisfied! rclxms.gif

thanx bro! before this SA told me the car can be only pick up on saturday, coz i want it registered with KL plate number..but somehow he manage to make it available today..many thanx to my SA and eon seri manjung for their proactive action.. rclxms.gif
