just got my driver seat exchanged yesterday. Now the back support springs are well in-place. Still waiting for the starter motor part to arrive. Suspect that causes the regular overcranking and difficulty on cold start-up.

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 14 2012, 05:34 PM) wat happened to ur back support spring? for mine, when i try to press my back into the seat, will have some creaky sound.. yup even when you are driving and turning corners, as your back slants left to right rubbing your back to the seat, the creaky noise from the spring appears. But it all happened when i first got my car, and as i tried to scratch my butt, my back lean against the back support, and suddenly i hear a POP sound and i know one of the pocket spring went in. but the sound got worse as days passed. I ordered the seat since early June. You have to be careful not to lean your whole bodyweight against the back support. springs too fragile. and the funny part is, my driver seat got bulu and they changed for me. But SA says the bulu can also be contributed by the driver wearing jeans. I never wear jeans but anyway, does that mean this Preve Drivers cannot wear Jeans? Might as well be butt naked driving la. |

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Aug 14 2012, 05:38 PM) hmm. u park under sun everyday? yes, don't send for fixing yet. let all the parts get the heat thoroughly then only send for fixing. Otherwise you have to get it done every 2 weeks.dashboard seem to emit more squeeky/creaky sound... still can bear with it... I got mine fixed already, very good now. but accelerate vibration at dashboard cannot be helped for the time being. |

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Aug 14 2012, 05:43 PM) when did u reported? i waited long enough for the approval from HQ. mine was last week, but i told them, wait till after raya... no point send in now to fix it. SC was kind enough to change for me yesterday b4 approval bcoz the back without support really hurt my back while driving long hours, especially this coming holidays. I also have all window trim cover fixed. No more wind noise. now will just wait after holidays to send my car for respraying all defective areas which needs at least 3-5days. I am enjoying myself sending my car regularly to SC to get things fixed nicely every now and then until it's perfect. No need to get upset or frustrated. Not their fault. Just be nice to them and you will feel so at home. Enjoy the experiences and make new friends. |

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Aug 14 2012, 05:44 PM) Yup, it's still high, but definitely improved alot compared to my first month getting the car. Definitely changing the OWV helped reduced the high consumption. But bcoz i have so many issues to troubleshoot, so each filling up is not of the ordinary usage. You can go to fuelly and check my notes for every fuel-up situation. I have accepted the fact that my car can go 300km per fuel up of about 40 litres. My average speed can only hit 21 km/h in city driving. No highway in ipoh. |

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Aug 14 2012, 05:51 PM) yup totally agree, no point getting angry, just ask them nicely the gentleman way, fix the problem. depends on the surface of the tarmac road. Road noise might cover-up the wind noise. But it's definitely a defect. Must have additional window strips at certain areas. Will Snap pic for you later. Gotta run.window trim cover...hmm... wind noise, i still don't have the chance to sit at rear to listen. but if the whistling sound strong enuf, evern sit at front can hear right? |
