im having this tok tok sound when ever i go thru humps or holes on the road. it seems to be coming from the rear.. any idea?
*

I get that as well. Usually some minutes after the car has warmed up. Can happen when car is moving or stationary. On each occasion, it's just 1 or 2 'tok' sounds from the rear. I'm guessing it has to do with something related to the exhaust system; could be the cat converter.

Mileage gets better after the car is run in. FC is subjective. One guy gets good FC and another gets bad. We don't know if one drives with a leaded foot and the other is coasting down all the way on the Karak highway.

Btw, thread isn't dying. Just that many are feeling down over fulat's passing or there just isn't that many problems with their cars (which is good). If one reads back over the last 10 pages, you'll notice there's negligible new issues other than the ones mentioned in earlier threads.

Been reading up a bit on the latest engine oil updates around the world.

Mmmmm...it seems my info is a bit dated liao...for the last couple of years, it seems the newest engine and the latest rated FS lube can go further mileage.

I guess I will be revising and extending FS mileage from 5-7K to 7-10K instead.

However I'm still have doubt on Campro tech....is it the latest tech with the most efficient running, etc. I most probably will do it to the latest Hondas, Toyotas, VW, etc but campro efficiency, I'll stick with 7-8K for FS change if I ever use FS for my PE.

Also we know FS might last but what the the stock fuel filter. Its meant for 5K, can it stand for 10K. Once clogged which is very likely due to our darn dusty, very hot and humid environment, bypass will be activated meaning no filteration for engine oil....can the FS hold the massive contaminant after that....

lol .. I wont say it's exactly at the rear of the car but likely behind the driver. Never really went down on my knees to look but what else gets that hot?

thats really good FC. i only got 9.6l/100km

70% highway 30% city. usually speed will be 85~95kmph on highway. sometimes only reach 110kmph when overtake. looks like yours is one of the few cars that can achieve 8. something litres/100km

you most of the time travel 120kmph or 150 kmph? using S mode or D mode? me all D mode.
are u using CFE version or manual?

What is the difference when you driving with SAT mode?
For my opinion, SAT mode seems more fuel efficiency. hmm.gif

Another question, I receive an sms from EON SC to ask me to go for service.
My current mileage is ~6k. Should I go for the service or wait until 10k?

Thanks..

If you're a severe driver (refer to the manual for meaning of severe), then 5000 km service interval is for you. If you are not, i.e. been using the car since April 2012 until now only 6000++ km then U can wait bro
