hi there...my family have just received a white preve cfe just now..chasis number 12782..what is batch is that car on? first impression after driving..everything is great...no sluggishness felt on acceleration...great!

it should be the new ECU is under early release batches... its ready i heard... it resolve the car jerking problem... no sluggish pickup... and better FC...

urs consider very latest but we have no idea which batch it belongs. as long as problem free then no need concern much on the batch. congratz!

normally。。。 every 3k/5k per batch production.... if 3K... thats the rth batch... if 5k... that the third batch..

why make recall? u go services your car at SC right? and also its not a must to update the ECU.. they will only do the ECU thing if u agree...

some might wanna stay at current ECU.

What advantage the previous ECU had compare with current one?

dont know... but i am not gonna rush to get the new ECU update so fast.. as i have no jerking problem and my FC after run in is getting better plus i dont have sluggish pickup... normal 1500rpm it can move like normal car on the road.

actually preve proton made it Euro 5 emission standard, thus giving a smooth pickup rather than lunging out like normal car, hence the sluggishness, as the worst FC and emission is during launching the car. U check and see, even Civic only Euro 3 standard, the higher the standard, stricter emission control, Euro 5 got restrict amount particle in air from exhaust.

actually this is what the dealer boss told my dad, but i think it makes sense la.. maybe also due to the fact that campro is not a really really efficient engine, not like VW TSI engine or ford one..

now the car is reaching 100 km of odo..im happy to report there is no sluggish..and the wind noise reported always happening at c pillar cant be heard...fo this time being okay good

ya... got lots of CN 12xxx above one less complain.

I heard Proton tune previous ECU with sluggish pick up just to increase the FC of the car.
But if they can improve both pick up and FC altogether, there is no more reason the previous owner to stick with previous tune. But like you said, we gonna wait and see the result. If Proton SC can provide free service to retune the ECU into better one, that would be damn good.

Gonna go for my 1k service soon. Called Seremban proton edar today, their booking is full till 18th august. Probably will go to a authorised service center only. Or u guys think I should still wait till the service center has a spot?

While driving up or down hill, there is some slight jerking of the car but the car engine won't die off, while pickup after a complete stop is slow compare to my old myvi. Anyone mind giving me some heads up?

My chasis no is 103xx
