OT:
any other nforce3 user here with uccc pc4000, but cant push it beyond ddr520?? for some reason, im stuck at ddr510.. test with a venice also same.. but i can tighten to 3-4-3-8 @ 2.6v i need a solid proof, if its nforce3 limitation, coz getting a nf4 board means i need new GC too |

QUOTE(redbull_y2k @ Feb 14 2006, 11:06 PM) using venice?tried sideeffect's 1.c std, tccd, ballistix, no go.. borrowed e6 venice also a no go.. but at least u r on 2.5-3-3-x , while im looser at 3-4-4-x @__@ 2T wont help either.. and i dont think switching to nf3 ultra-D is a wise idea ------------- any secrets to burn-in low voltage rams? guys, do ur UCCC rams get very hot with 2.6v?
mine damn hot.. juz got AllnGaps cooler, manage to squeeze more mhz.. now doing 260 memtest stable but the ram still hot...@2.65v.. even with cooler ---------------- WTF... im still suffering random reboots when rams beyond 255 its not BSOD, but reboot.. feed vcore 1.5v also a no go.. damnit, its memtest stable >__> could it be seriously shitty mem controller?? woot..
manage to revive my epox \o\ \o/ /o/ now blent test the rams at 260 ... i guess its my psu is the culprit, having weak 3.3v rails [fluctuate like hell] my epox is using 5v rails for ram, so currently doing good ----------------------- its weird, my epox cant memtest error free like my neo2 in dos at 260. but, my epox can prime in windows at 270 while my neo2 fails even at 255 for now, to hell goes with memtest, as long its prime/superpi stable, im fine with it lookin good blend while irc'ing n downloading n surfing This post has been edited by e-jump: Mar 19 2006, 01:49 AM |

QUOTE(Fluxs @ Jun 30 2006, 08:30 PM) if u already tried only the apacer ram alone with bios set to default, n maybe manually set loose timing with higher voltage n still failed, off to RMA it goes (or try on someone else mobo before hand)This post has been edited by e-jump: Jul 2 2006, 10:04 AM |
