Car wrong, speeding at slow lane

from the video, driver got at least 5 second (even more in real life due to camera quality) to be aware of the incoming ambulance, but he didn't take any action to slow down or to be more cautious.

and the purpose of the bloody loud siren is to alert people emergency vehicle are coming.. so, if the video recorded the siren sound, means the people should be able to notice it too.. so stupid driver.

THAT's WHY THE PUT ON THE SIREN so Fking LOUD.  SO THAT THEY CAN RUN THE BLOODY RED LIGHT !!!

it was bloody emergency... you expect people to be polite..

if not, they just use signal blinker... and drive 90 on the freeway.. or probably slower as some got 60 speed limit..
while people on the other side waiting for ambulance suffer..

AMBULANCE ARRIVE LATE BECAUSE OBEYING TRAFFIC LAW.. hell yeah..

that's the rule of thumb, when you are approaching a traffic light make it into a habit of being more alert and cautious, not speeding blindly

We only have the car driver's pov, what makes you think the ambulance doesn't take caution before making the turn?

actually yes.. siren = king of the mutha f***in road by law. that doesn't mean normal honda city can install siren too..  lol

seriously.. who the F care about red light if you are in emergency.. normal vehicle should be more alert to emergency vehicle since they have loud siren to notify their presence and urgency

and thanks to the driver high quality video..
siren can be heard around 0:17 and
you can actually notice the blinking light from the top of ambulance at around 0:18. a good driver will notice this easily..

and when you can clearly hear the siren + approaching intersection + traffic light, normal vehicle should slow down..

and in case you guys didn't notice.. that wasn't the ambulance driver who went out of the ambulance, probably his assistant..

why he so lansi?? because you hit an ambulance.. they probably on their way to attend a case..  but after being hit,, the driver (probably still in the vehicle) will call another ambulance for backup since they immobilize already.

The general rule also applies to the car driver, that idiot shouldn't be speeding ON A SLOW LANE.

so when you are in an emergency, even in a life threatening one, you can only use the siren only when you are driving forward, and people would give way for you.

But when you reach a traffic light that needed you to take a junction, you must wait for the traffic light?

what's the connection between double signal and this case?? I see no relevance..
and yes I know you cant turn on the double blinker, because double blinker means your car broke down and you should stop driving. instead people use that for speeding.. but that's not relevant.
emergency vehicle is the KING of the road when they turn on the siren and when they have emergency. Did you even read my post above??
and consider the driver lucky it wasn't a fire truck.

and how bout the driver had 5 second after he heard the LOUD siren to be more cautious??
how about he could clearly notice the ambulance coming around 0:18 of the video.. around  5 second before impact..

he's incompetence driver.. did not alert of surrounding..

don't expect the ambulance driver to be cautious in this case, they had excuse.. the siren was on.. the driver clearly had ample time to react..

Hope u guys understand, the unlucky driver doesn't really speeding in the left lane, but cars at the right lane stopped due to the traffic light.

In this case, the one fault for the driver is unable to mention the siren of the ambulance.
But I think this is common mistake as the ambulance suddenly popout from a blindspot.
