Similar to the video, the news did not highlight what the other party was doing prior to the accident, we can't judge based on the news itself. I don't see how the video and this news correlate with each other, if you're trying to imply that the firetruck, responding to an emergency had caused the death of a motorcyclist then that isn't quite fair to them. You're blatantly judging them without enough evidence. Don't simply cherry-pick news just because it sounds like it concurs with your statement.
It is a unspoken rule that you should give way to emergency respondent and/or if you hear sirens you should be careful. For goodness sake, if you can hear a siren from an ambulance or fire truck, high chances are the driver behind you can hear the siren as well. That is your responsibility as a driver.
If you yourself don't give way to emergency respondents then you are a douche-bag.
