the driver had ~5 second to react after he heard the siren and clear visible of LED Light on top of the ambulance. (0:18 of the video).
The video clearly showed that he had ample time to react and to notify the ambulance. Even the v.recorder managed to record siren 5 second before impact.

yes, the ambulance still need to obey red light. Other 2 lanes on the right side of the driver already slowed down, congested and given their way to ambulance. If the driver is paying more attention to surrounding, the driver should slow down and look for emergency vehicle coming from any point of the road. even the ambulance could be flying and land from the sky. he should be aware.

even on empty road,, please pay more attention even your way has the green light. Remember the singapore ferrari and the lexus cases..

I doubt that drivers at the right lane slow down coz of the ambulance.

Check again the video, Go forward (Green Light), Turn Right (Red)

Some driver on the right lane stopped coz Red light thus, make the unlucky driver thinks that they slowed down and stopped due to the red light.

if bring this case to court.kelisa driver guilty because got evidence with video and sound.

ppl drive car to enjoy weekend for cinema, shopping and balik kampung, not stuck in traffic jam during working hour. ppl ride bike to stunt or go work if wake up too late even for lrt to work. ppl take lrt frequently to relax on the way to work, beat traffic jam and dont have to go through the rainy days on road. every thing need to tell u meh? k is not ur personal blog. why i type long long? unker nasihatkan orang tua yang da nyanyuk...

Hope u guys understand, the unlucky driver doesn't really speeding in the left lane, but cars at the right lane stopped due to the traffic light.

In this case, the one fault for the driver is unable to mention the siren of the ambulance.
But I think this is common mistake as the ambulance suddenly popout from a blindspot.

LOOK AT THE TWO ARROWS ON THE ROAD. we hired bangla to paint the arrow for this purpose..

2 lanes on the driver's right going straight. 2 lanes to turn right. around 0:15 of the video you can see clearly the arrow
You can clearly see the arrow pointing straight.. So that means go straight.. no belok2... so the traffice on the two lanes slowed down for the ambulance.. not red light

ini also want to debate, ambulance has special their right coz it is emergency. siren is on, the flash light is on and someone bang because of 'blindspot'. blindspot is driver's fault.

The light is green. The ambulance has the siren turned on. At a junction, even if the light is green, an ambulance moving any direction (following traffic or against it) has the right way. Cars need to be aware of emergency vehicles operating on the road. It's just common sense to slow down at a traffic light no matter whether there is an ambulance or the traffic ahead is smooth, pushing you to speed ahead.

If this even gets to the courts, hospital wins as there is video evidence to prove the driver wrong.

Not gonna blame the guy. Green light means go. Then suddenly an ambulance come right at his face.

I really don't see how it's the guy's fault.

ambulans always, ALWAYS have the right of way. even if got police escort the king, the right of way goes to the ambulance. that's just the way it is.
