Hey guys, I dunno whether this question of mine sounds silly to u all or not but recently I received a brand new Galaxy Nexus as a lucky draw prize from a client's company annual dinner.

I tried to connect it through KIES but unable to detect the phone at all. I was wondering whether besides KIES software, how is it possible for me to update the current ICS to Jelly Bean?
