Anybody experiencing JB gallery issues not showing old photos? And play music unable to detect music in storage?

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Aug 16 2012, 09:07 AM)

I face no problem at this unsure.gif
But I do notice that pictures placed in randomly created folder won't show up in Gallery. Put in DCIM then show up. But weird... instagram pictures stored in /sdcard/Pictures also will show up. But that day I created a folder in /sdcard and put pictures, it won't show up.

My music files all in /sdcard/Music folder. No problem so far.

im guessing is how u insert the files after coming from another rom..
so far nvr had the issues, pull correctly, push correctly.
and if files are in phone be4 rom came in, have to re list them again.
files after rom, rom will take care.

Guys just a few questions here, got my GNex last night and this is my first Android phone.
Followed the guide on updating it to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 since my system was not stock yakju and it worked fine.
Now my questions are:

1. My bootloader is currently unlocked, if I lock it will everything be fine and running Jelly Bean or will it go back to the stock firmware ICS 4.0.4?
2. which is safer lock or unlocked bootloader after you done your customization ?
3. If my phone got problem and it is root/unlocked bootloader, what should I do before sending it to SME warranty?
Will they refuse to repair it because the phone is rooted and thus warranty void?
4. Any SDK (e.g GNEX toolkits) available for Mac or is it only PC and Linux support?

Anyway good guide on the 1st page, and I am loving this phone so far and thanks for the help.

1- lock back all ur data erase, but will stay 4.1 JB
2- u do customisation, lock back data loss..
3- revert ICS 4.0.4 unroot relock. then send back
4- got toolkit for mac too.

1. & 2. Just keep it unlocked. I dont see any point to lock the bootloader back except sending for warranty
3. Depends on your luck but to be safe revert everything back to original
4. SDK is available for mac http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html but if you mean GNex toolkit (this is not SDK) it also available for mac in beta. Check out Galaxy Nexus Development section on xda

claiming warranty i think?.

unlocked bootloader provide more freedom to do customization.

no harm for the phone even it is in unlocked bootloader condition.

I smell something fishy here. Getting support for pirated apps is not welcomed here vmad.gif

At $0.01 I'm wondering if do you still get the access to a Steam key and DRM-free direct downloads?
