if u know how to play ard with the FD and smart saver from OCBC, then you can get at least 4% of interest in your FD every month !
I would say thats the highest in a month among all banks.

Just took my wife to open the accounts in OCBC as suggested above (with lesser amounts but in the same proportions).
Except I bought 1k unit trust for the nondeposit product.
Average interest about 4.72%.
I think this is the best deal now available.
Also got a travel bag as free gift.

So guys~which bank is the higher interest for FD? Hehee..OCBC I don't have saving accoount, can I create one and directly invest on the FD?

4.5% is like a teaser rate. for 3 months.
After 3 months, it goes back to their regular non-promo rate - whatever that is.
One doesn't know unless specifically ask them. 

per the agreement you signed up with the bank , bank will pay you the rate as agreed upon for 3 months. Upon maturity you can have instruction like auto renew, deposit into Saving account etc. Bank of course want you to auto renew because your matured FD will only get the miserable board rate unless you take out and place into some other banks
