I wonder if this has been mentioned before.

Now we all know that the disadvantages of Auto gear is that if you tried to manually shift the gear it'll drop back to the current one.

But as I was playing just now I noticed something. It only returns to the original gear IF your RPM doesn't satisfy the current gear, therefore if you time your shift up time properly you can change gear manually instead of waiting for the auto gear to do it for you.
